Finally got around to making that soup I was planning. Started with chicken, bone broth, regular broth, (bits of) garlic, onion, celery, crushed red pepper, kosher salt, poultry seasoning; then added okra, Brussels sprouts, mushrooms, grape tomatoes, spinach. Later, I will add green beans & cabbage slaw after a visit to the grocer. EGAD, I forgot the butter! BRB … :crazy_face:

Steak and fresh mushrooms. Both cooked in bacon grease in a cast iron skillet. :slight_smile:

I stayed with a hunting family during my vacation this summer. They pulled venison steaks out of the freezer and cooked them in butter and put them on my plate next to a pile of salad. I have never been so happy. I died.

Split into 1/2 lb packages.

Now let me take you on my dinner adventure.
2 slices bacon.

Add ground beef.
Pour out beef and bacon. Add 2 servings ketchup.

Add butter to pan for eggs.

Float eggs in their butter bath.

Final product.

Can’t get enough.

Tonight had a piece of a London Broil Steak, 1/2 a Dungeness Deviled Crab patty, Broccoli & Cauliflower, Deviled Eggs, Cheese, Pickles & Olives. With a bowl of Greek Yogurt w/ Strawberries. … But I only ate about 1/3 of the steak, after eating the rest first. :yum:
