What did you Keto today?
I was inspired by this thread:
Very easy to make…
- I pushed 2 lbs of grocery store Italian Sausage(pork and spices only) into my 10" lodge pan using my chicken mallet.
- Baked in a 400deg for 30 mins… drained off some oil.
- Added Mozzarella cheese and covered with some low carb spag sauce my wife likes.
- Back into the over for another 30mins+ until the cheese was oozing and read a temp of 210deg (temp was just noted, i went for crispy sausage crust).
Can’t wait to try it.
When I lived in Chicago 10 years ago, I loved eating at Lou Malnati’s. Unfortunately I wasn’t keto then, so I ate the high carb deep dish crust. Next time I’m in town I’ll have to try the sausage crust!
Chicken Crust Pizza: I’m amazed the crust texture is like a hand-tossed medium thickness pizza. Tasty, but I need to tweak the flavors before finalizing the recipe, I was dissapointed with the white sauce. The Hubby requested a red sauce next time.

I had to add this because it was so delicious. On vacation at Disney last week, I had the lamb shank at Jiko. I also ordered the charcuterie platter. I highly recommend both! I did not eat the bread in the background.
This has a link to the original fathead recipe and walks you through the process
I actually made Carlshead pizza, and misquoted fathead
Matthead pizza, a variation I want to try
Well, not today, as today all I’ve had so far is bacon and eggs, but the other day I smoked three family size packages of chicken wings, so we’ve been eating on those for a few days. Yeah, I’m using sauce that isn’t sugar-free, but I’m using it very sparingly. There’s nothing like smoked chicken, pork, or beef. Mmmm…
Mmmmm thank you! Have you seen this keto connect chicken crust? One carb I think and looks easy / amazing?!

Three family sized packages of wings. Two of us in the house. Yeah, there’s still some left.
Oh this looks interesting with the canned chicken . I had not seen this yet, I will try this one too. Thank you!
Thin sliced zucchini, pancetta and red onion fried in butter with some oregano, worchestershire and pepper. Two over easy eggs with Frank’s red hot and some cheddar.
So delicious and so full!!
