What did you Keto today?

(Heather~KWOL for life!) #9661

For dinner we ketoed salmon soup using heavy cream instead of milk, best comfort food ever

(Ernest) #9662

This butter right here!! Goodness gracious, no wonder it’s so expensive. I found some on sale, just wanted to try it.

(Running from stupidity) #9663

OK, so I fasted until lunch, forgot to eat it #becausewarframe and then tried to eat a rump steak, 2 x chicken sausages and some cauliflower puree for dinner to make up for it. Couldn’t eat half of the puree and the steak, so I guess that’s lunch tomorrow. Maybe with some bacon.

(bulkbiker) #9664

Does it have a nutrition label on it at all? I’ve just tried to find it here in the UK but…

(Blessed with butter ) #9665

@Digital_Dave the jar says peppers distilled vinegar sea salt turmeric. And some preserves. Calcium chloride sodium bisulfite for keeping the color. I would just mess around with the 3 main ingredients. Vinegar sea salt and turmeric. See what you can make. Maybe you can get the recipe on Mezzetta.com.
When this jar is empty I am going to put some jalapeños in the brine

Hahahaha, I had to look the “recipe” for perfect hard boiled eggs yesterday :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:, so no judgment from me.

Let me know if you like them, they can taste a little “eggy” for some, but I don´t mind, even non keto people in my house eat them.

Nom nom nom. This is the happiest forum thread in the world.

Coming off a 108 hour fast, heated up some bacon at work, ate a few macadamia nuts, ate some pork cracklins (delicious!) and now having a large Blonde Roast with heavy cream from Starbucks. Not sure if I’ll eat lunch yet (was planning on feasting today) but looking forward to Brazilian BBQ for dinner!

So today is not my best day. Wine, cheesy snacks, charcuterie. But well, at least it looks beautiful

(TJ Borden) #9669

What’s the problem? Wine, cheese, meat… sounds like a good day to me

(Adriana) #9670

That looks really good, what type of cheese are those? :mouse:

#9671

There is local semi-hard cheese, smoked cheese with spices, basil cheese, sun dryed tomatoes cheese, cheese with jalapenos, pecan nuts, blanched almonds and a little bit of dryed cranberries

(Running from stupidity) #9676

Initial reading: “Pork Crackline”

Indeed.

#9677

I mean, by this point, your initial reading is probably more accurate!

(Lauren) #9678

(Lonnie Hedley) #9679

(Candy Lind) #9680

Taking lazy keto seriously today - letting someone else cook! Ribs and broccoli, both smothered in butter.
