Keto Carlheads Pizza with Rao’s Marinara, mozzarella and prosciutto

(Tim Adams) #8122

I can relate. No pic, but I just made buffalo wings for dinner. With… uh… wing sauce? No other sides needed

Sausage crust version and my first binge since starting Keto. Ate the whole thing!:worried::weary:

(TJ Borden) #8124

Chicken, greens, dressing… looks like a salad to me.

(Ellen) #8125

Steak salad, ate all the steak most of the green stuff and hell yeah I drank all that lovely dressing (the red bits you see are chilli).

(Aimee Moisa) #8126

Brinner…homemade everything bagel egg, bacon, cheddar, spinach sandwich. :yum:

(Diane) #8131

What recipe did you use for the bagel? Please .

#8132

This is the recipe I used. The author forgets to add the xanthan gum in the directions so I just added it to the flour mix. I toast mine and either add cream cheese on top or make it into an egg sandwich. It’s not exactly a bagel texture but if you like everything bagels you will probably enjoy this. I use Trader Joe’s Everything Bagel but the Seasoning for the top. You could add whatever you wanted to the top. Enjoy!

My sous vide kit and electric BBQ packed up to sell, so first pan-fried steak in awhile. Turned out pretty savoury though! Took 1/4 cup of butter, 1T of minced garlic and 80g of blue cheese to blend with the tasty bits from frying the steak to make a sauce.

And, yes, I had a big salad before so my liver doesn’t complain.

(Aimee Moisa) #8134

Why are you selling your sous vide and electric BBQ?

(Steve) #8135

Extended travelling, then I’ll be applying for jobs in Australia, New Zealand and South Africa (if it comes to that). Hoping I land something in New Zealand. All of my Aussie friends here (in Canada) want to retire there - so that’s a pretty good indication it’s the place to be.

A more detailed explanation over here:

Bacon, beef, eggs cooked in bacon and beef ghee with a little ghee. The eggs got a fat bath. Poured the liquid over everything. Grease and runny yolks make a good “sauce”. Everyday seasoning from Trader Joe’s.

Ate half before the pic.

85 instead of 90 seconds makes it a little like molten lava cake.
