What did you Keto today?

Yum, yum…

Leftover center of ribeye steak, slice thin, sautéed in lots of butter to heat up, seasoned (good salt, cayenne, sage, onion powder), steamed garden green beans and zucchini added, and then heavy cream added and simmered till everything was covered with a nice, rich cream sauce.

Oh man. Only took a few minutes to prepare… Leftovers never tasted so good.

Some sort of :bacon: :cheese: :hamburger:.

Easy go-to.

(Gabriel G.) #8140

Oh, the sauce is some sort of store-bought aioli. Good, and 0 carbs, but homemade could be better.

(LeeAnn Brooks) #8141

That looks good enough to lick my phone.

They should really make scratch and sniff iPhones.

(Gabriel G.) #8142

Super easy to make and your phone will thank you

(LeeAnn Brooks) #8143

I’m due for a good burger. May have to wait till Saturday though. Don’t have time to cook tomorrow.

#8144

Ribeye, cauliflower mac and cheese

There’s actually several groups that have put in some good R&D into being able to replicate smells online…it’ll likely happen in home computers first…then tablets. Will take awhile to get the tech miniaturized enough for phones (and there has to be enough market demand for it of course)

Edit: Forgot the one link:

Can you imagine apps like Yelp and Urban Spoon where you would be able to smell the dishes over your phone???

Considering that smell is the most memorable of the senses, it could make it a lot easier to search for recipes too!!!

I can also see this being misused. You just know someone’s going to think a “pull my finger” gram via text will be the most hilarious thing to do.

(TJ Borden) #8147

That’s the first thing guys would use it for

(Steve) #8148

“Smell ya later!”

Wow, why do I look it this thread when I’m fasting?. Yum!

I stopped doing that a long time ago, but my clicking finger always gets itchy when I see the puple number go up, and up and up… XD

(TJ Borden) #8150

Right??? You can’t NOT click on it

(Karen) #8151

And pickles for your fermented. Look yummy!

It is very very hard… It’s like training z
Your fasting muscle… Only a little worse :yum:

(I want abs... olutely all the bacon) #8153

Two 1/2 burger patties, slices of Swiss, Provolone, and Cheddar, pile ‘o pulled pork, 6 crispy bacon ribbons, with yellow mustard and mayo

(Aimee Moisa) #8154

MMM That looks so good! I think I need to eat more fat. I’ve been so busy I’ve just been eating pieces of cheese, deli meat, and take-out Thai garlic chicken & broccoli.

(matt ) #8155

Asian takeout can have a lot of hidden carbs (corn starch and such) so be careful there.

Faux pasta salad.
Shirataki snipped short, arugula, tomatoes, shredded chicken breast, bacon, French dressing and a small hunk of flaxbread. :yum:

You weren’t kidding about keeping an eye on me.

I’ll ask the proprietor that, and what oil they use. He’s become a friend. The garlic chicken doesn’t really have any sauce but I may have eaten too much broccoli and lettuce, and it looks like they make it really light on oils. (They put lettuce under the food to bulk it up, it’s delicious!)
