This was lunch. Fried eggs, bacon and mushrooms, with loads of butter and salt.
Fun run was not all that fun given the HEAT! No clue how the course record was broken, but it was (not by me, obvs)!

Chaffles Just like a waffle!
I posted this recipe in the recipe section. These are my go to for hamburger buns and sandwiches.
Took my mum to Heavens Farm. Had a lovely cheese and ham omlette for lunch.
Thanks, Jacqueline!
Heaven Farm at Furner’s Green? I’ve been there during bluebell season - it’s gorgeous! And that omelette looks lovely!
Ground Beef, Green Bell Pepper, Tomatoes, Dill Weed, Garlic and Skellig Cheddar Cheese
Omg! It’s so lovely, I have done the nature trail, and apparently I am the only person to get lost!
I have heard that blue bell season is the best and I am determined to do it! My Mum lives in East Grinstead!
Where are you? Dont say if you don’t want to .
I’m near Lewes. Drove past the Bent Arms in Lindfield on Friday and thought of you - how nice that the scaffolding’s gone at last!

Haha at
Desk lunch: Cafe Rio sides- steak, grilled chicken, with queso and guacamole for dipping.
Edit: next time I would probably not get the guacamole, it wasn’t that good. The steak was tastier than the chicken- which was really dry.
Re-edit: Next time, I will just get the steak and queso. That makes it a pretty inexpensive meal.
I made some broccoli last night, sauteed in butter with garlic powder and rosemary. My kids thought it was a hit!
