Corned Beef Scramble

Corned Beef, sweet mini peppers and mushrooms, green onions and cheddar cheese.

Goat Cheese Stuffed Bacon Wrapped Chicken Breast and Asparagus with Mushrooms

:man_cook:t3: came out pretty tasty, the chicken flavored with thyme and lemon zest and the asparagus with tarragon. :cowboy_hat_face:

I don’t know @Elle79’s pictures can get pretty gruesome.

(Christy) #5106

Kerrygold oven roasted chicken, with bacon wrapped cayenne pepper asparagus. So tasty my husband went back for 3rds.

(Full Metal KETO AF) #5107

@christylaine It looks delicious. :yum:

(Christy) #5108

@David_Stilley It was  Wish I had enough to share with everyone!

Daikon Noodles!
We have had this new discovery (for us) 3 times this week. (2 carbs in 100 grams)
Cut daikon into match sticks or julienne like this, throw into boiling water and cook to desired consistency. It has a very nice feel to the tooth just like pasta. We have been tossing with Alfredo sauce, marinara is next.
When eaten raw it kind of tastes like a radish but the flavor is leached out when cooked.
Move over shirataki.

Lunch today was my ugly (but delicious) burger cups and eggs scrambled in ghee!

I also treated myself to a coffee with a massive blob of whipped cream, and keto shortcake cookies! I never do treats. This was nice!

I only managed one cookie though…

#5112

Hey @christylaine, is that little R2-D2 a salt shaker, or something? That would be so cool!

Get a spiralizer, so worth the $20 investment. Get a crank style not the hourglass shaped type, it’s worth the extra cost. You can see one behind the plate on my post above. Mine is the Vegetti. :man_cook:t3:

(Jane) #5115

Houlimi and bread cheese fried in ghee. Plate is for 2 of us

Pan fried burgers because a) propane bottles are empty and b) weather too crappy to grill on the deck.

#5116

Finished my Top Sirloin from last night, along with some Eggs and Country Sausage.

(Steaks b4 cakes! 🥩🥂) #5117

This was so good! Sirloin steak topped with mayo, some asparagus and a few mushrooms and a nice bowl of crispy kale!

#5118

Well, looky there, Dave. You’ve inspired me.

You’re eggs look perfect to me. I have a hard time cooking the whites enough while keeping the yolks totally runny. I HATE slimy whites.

#5120

And here it is being used for the first time.

And the final product. A wonderful fatty rib-eye, and tasty salad in my re-purposed cereal bowl!

Hey I have a pan just like this. I’ve only used it for camping. I’m inspired

#5122

Thanks, me too on the runny whites. … We find the best way is to use the grease they cook in, tilting the pan and scoop & pour it slowly over the tops continuously to cook around the yolks after the bottom has cooked up some. V also likes flipping them over sometimes, which also works, but I actually prefer the first method. - Another way is using a lid. But you still need to watch them close, because it will cook the yokes hard if left on too long. (But shoot, any of these methods can/will as well.) But when she does use the flip option & breaks a yolk, she just uses it for the pups since we always make them some too.

Cool! And it looks like it came out quite nicely too… But you didn’t have to show me that delicious butter sitting on top, during my month of giving up Dairy! :face_with_raised_eyebrow::rofl: Damn butter just goes so well on a nicely seared Steak! …Not to mention loads of other stuff!

:+1: … Hope to see some pics shortly. Mine worked pretty good, but I was hoping it would on the glass top stove. (The package did state it would, but I honestly had my doubts TBH)

(Christiana) #5123

I had this amazing bunless burger (this is only half of it) at a great little diner in Colorado Springs!

(Full Metal KETO AF) #5124

I got mine in a camping set too. With a gigantic Dutch Oven and a Double Burner Rectangular Gridddle at Costco a long time ago. I use the griddle and grill pan but I haven’t needed a 15 quart Dutch Oven yet! :cowboy_hat_face:
