And she’s ridiculously intelligent, agile, cunning, and a teeny bit tomboyish. :smiley:

And our wifi is named “Winterfell” though it may get changed to something like Dragonstone or New Valyria at some point. I’m undecided how I would like to agitate the wife.

Not until after I’d seen the first season. My wife made me watch it, and I had never heard of it. I was hooked after the first episode.

I’ve since listened to the 5 audiobooks through about 8 times in the car, as well as all 5 novellas and The World of Ice and Fire. If you haven’t checked those out (they’re not nearly as long as the main books), I suggest you do!

I’ve got the books, and am really just hoping that Georgie Martin lives long enough to finish it all. He’s 70 and to me it looks like he definitely could benefit from some ketogenic eating. :smile:

Yep, I think about that all the time. Not only is he older and with not great health, but he’s also procrastinating and doing other things than ASOIAF! I really hope we can have a conclusion to the story that isn’t just the final season of the HBO show.

Don’t get me wrong, I love the show. It’s just a separate work of art to me, and is not nearly as detailed as the books. I mean, he gets right down to it include details about the food and everything. Truly a masterful author.
