I plan on breaking at dinner this evening as well (96hrs) as I have a treat planned for the weekend. At least I hope it is still a treat (used to be my favorite) since I haven’t had it since going keto. This will be my first indulgence so not sure what to expect.

I’m trying out a week feasting and then a Monday-Saturday fast. I’ve done it before, but I’m changing things up to keep my body guessing.
I’m closing in on the 5 day mark now, hardest day so far, everything up until now was smooth sailing!
I was a bit wiped this morning so I took my multivitamins and had some salt and felt good to go, but then on my walk (it’s hot here!) I got a bit tired again, but had a bit more salt again and had got all my energy back and felt the same as I had the last couple of days. I think it was dehydration which I think I need to do better at in the heat.
My stomach has been grumbling all day as well, but I walked through the shops and a food court and I don’t feel hungry, if that makes any sense.
Tossing up calling it a day and easing out of fasting, but I can’t tell if today is simply dehydration and what happens at day 5 for me or whether its a sign I should eat…

Slept like garbage last night. Got up to use the bathroom 4 times!!! Day 2 feeling good despite the lack of sleep.
Sitting at hour 34 and feeling quite well. Drinking black coffee and water with NaCl (sodium chloride) and KCl (potassium chloride) added. I actually had a very good night’s sleep although was only asleep for 6 hours. I was able to get up with the first alarm and my FitBit showed that of those six hours, I had 1 hour 39 minutes of deep sleep which is a record for me!

Thanks Dan! I am hoping to (finally) beat my fasting record of 113 hours, a full 5 days would be great! Social obligations derailed it last week. I will just have to wait and see…

Day 3, much better sleep last night. Wondering why my ankle is sore, but did a 2 mile walk last night so something is going on there. Hope everyone has a nice food free day.
Have you ever hurt that sore ankle in the past? If so, the fasting and autophagy may be deeply healing that ankle which will in turn bring on the soreness.
