Catching up on over 120 posts since I was fasting.

Broke my Zornfast at 88 hours.


Picked up the macadamias yesterday in case my body said I needed something. Ate the entire bag this morning, and two servings worth of the Gouda. Before breaking the fast, my mind was telling me how I’d be feasting like a glutton. But after the bag of macadamias and some cheese, I’m full.

I rarely buy macadamias. Until Keto I’d say I hated nuts. Since going Keto, I can’t think of a salty snack I like more than macadamias, pecans, and almonds. But, handfuls of macadamias are a slippery slope. They’re now an extremely rare treat.

FINALLY! … Ok, so I’ve been wanting to make these for over a week! But other meals keep pushing it back, until today. So I’m just calling these, Taco Stuffed Mushrooms w/ Meat Sombrero’s. (The sombrero’s are just Provolone cheese with Taco meat and Mexican Cheese on top, then baked for 10 minutes. Basically wanted a side dish for the stuffed mushrooms.) :slight_smile: Definitely will be keeping this recipe close by. :slight_smile:

They came out very nice and tasty! Added a little sour cream on top, along with some tomatoes, pickles & olives. They would make nice little taco as well, which is what I might just do the next time!

Almost forgot to take a photo of the Sombrero’s before baking, so pulled them out for a quick pic.

Look what @Hopeoftheflame (my eldest) cooked all by herself for lunch. A cheese burger bacon fatty. 1 1/2 lbs of fresh ground chuck, 14 pieces of bacon, and a lot of extra sharp cheddar. Some salt, pepper, garlic and onions. Three of us ate half of it for lunch. Last one we did together we smoked on the smoker. This was better. The smoker made it too, well, smokey.

Neapolitan fat bombs from a cookbook 450 keto receipes
Ingredients. 1/2 cup each butter,coconut oil,sour cream,cream cheese, at room temp. 2 Tbs erythritol (I don’t have it so I don’t use it) 25 drops liquid stevia (it’s too expensive so I don’t use it) I use 1 to two packets of stevia I take one teaspoon of warm water and desolve it. I really don’t like them that sweet 2 Tbl spoon cocoa powder, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract and two medium strawberries :strawberry: from my garden.

Blend everything except the cocoa, vanilla and strawberry’s into a smooth consistency. Divide mixture into 3 bowls. Add cocoa to one if too thick add a little heavy cream. Add the strawberries mushed to another and the vanilla to the third bowl. I then take plastic baggies. Put each kind into a separate baggie. Then cut a small hole in the corner of the Baggie. You have to work fast because your hot hands will melt the ingredients. Squirt it in thirds in each tiny cupcake cup and freeze. Put in baggies in the freezer. Take five to work put them in the freezer. Share with a keto buddy. Or keep them to yourself. 102.71 calorie
