Bacon and cheese omelette
What did you Keto today?
Just a Salad tip: Get your crunch back! I’ve read where folks mention eating a salad, but holding the croutons. Keep in mind, if you miss your ‘crunch’ as I do when eating salads, you can always add some broken up Pork Rinds’ … Believe me, you won’t miss your hard bread crunchiness anymore. I myself use the plain, but I guess you could use the flavored rinds as well?
My daughter had a bacon egg and cheese biscuit from McD’s, so made my own
I also added a little Walden Farms Maple Syrup, (0 calorie, 0 sugar but freakishly tastes, smells and looks like syrup) to create a McGriddle.
I’m only 1 month in, so still using some sweeteners. Hoping to get off them long term.
How do you add salt? Is it a heat sealed bag? It looks and sounds wonderful!
This afternoon for breakfast I had gyro meat with a little onion, a couple slices of tomatoes and am avocado. There was some cucumber sauce on there but not very much.
I enjoyed it very much though! I don’t even miss the pita. Sorry no picture, I was too hungry.
Tonight were having grilled ribeye! I am SO spoiled!
I just use heavy duty ziplock freezer bags, so I just popped the bags out, unzipped, and pulled the steaks out to salt and pepper. Then back in the bags and back in the bath. I use the water displacement to get the air or if the bag.
Easy peasy.
12-hour sous vide rump steak, cheesy cauliflower and broccoli bake, and some wasabi paste.
Also bacon, as it was my only meal for the day and I was worried I wasn’t getting enough protein
Back to Cheesy Taco’s tonight! … 3 Mexican Cheese Tacos with beef and cream cheese stuffed mushrooms, with some bacon slices (Not shown) … Then tried some home made Keto Ice Cream afterwards.
We love cheese taco shells.
This looks so delicious.
Cauliflower steak with fresh grated parmesan cheese and garlic. Fried in avocado oil. Fresh avocado. Rib Eye steak with artisan smoked blue cheese and artisan smoked sea salt. We sear the steak, dip it in butter and grill it for like 2 minutes. Mushrooms cooked with a little onion in butter.
BTW - I’m the artesian that smokes the cheese and salt.
Oooh, I wish there were a place for a truck to park. Maybe we can bobtail there sometime from Tyson. Not a lot of sugar in their rub? I always worry about that.
The best weather predictions you can get are from the NWS. Everyone else modifies to make “click bait.” The more clicks you attract, the more money in the owner’s pocket. NWS has a really good mobile “app” (actually just mobile pages for each office but looks and feels like an app) these days.
Fat cap and seasoning was on point. The meat itself was a little on the dry side, but again, lots of flavor. I liked the vibe of the place. I think I might go back when I’m in the mood to do a carb refeed, whiskey style. There had to be over 200 labels on that menu. Just water for me today, but sometime…
That’s fair. I lived in Ballard years ago, back when you could hit up Denny’s after an evening at sunset bowl. Now when I go it’s to swing by Stoup and Ruebens
OMG Dave!! Can you please create your own thread complete with recipes for this stuff? I wish I could hire you as my personal chef!
