What did you Keto today?

(Nicole Silvia) #9280

These all look AMAZING

(Brandy) #9281

I’ll have to try your place. I’m never sure where to go in Ballard anymore. But I will say, the feelings of nostalgia that come up when you mention the Ballard Denny’s. sigh Many a youthful, late night.

(TJ Borden) #9282

My places are breweries

There’s a lot across the street, you might can park your truck in. I really haven’t paid much attention to it, to know how big it is. But the restaurant is next to a side street with hardly any traffic. You could parallel park on this street, I’m sure.

Honestly don’t know about the sugar content of the rub, but I’m sure the BBQ sauce has some, which I rarely need to use (the only time I use the sauce is when the ribs or brisket is too dry which isn’t often), but I tend to believe their ingredients are a lot better than just about anywhere else you could eat barbecue around here.

Installed a new chandelier today. Needs different bulbs than the old one to brighten things up.

#9285

Jersey Mike’s sub in a tub (Pastrami Reuben) sans thousand island.

#9286

Your egg dishes always look so yummy

(Lonnie Hedley) #9287

When I first cut out carbs (before knowing what Keto even was), I would get a sub in a tub multiple times a week for lunch. I think it’s one of the best ā€œfast foodā€ Keto options.

(Lonnie Hedley) #9288

They are, that’s why I’m ok eating the same thing every day!

#9289

Today was my first time having a sub in a tub. My husband and I were out shopping and he wanted a sub and I remembered Jersey Mike’s had an option and it was sooooo good!

Thanks for the tip, will look for NWS app. Only reason I use TWC app is for the radar map. I’d have that running as a background/wall paper if Apple would allow an app to modify the background like that.

Here that app makers? We need an app that will turn the background screen into an active weather map. Heck, make the lock screen that way too!

I’d buy that for a dollar!
[:scream: RoboCop predicted the $0.99 app]

(Running from stupidity) #9291

Have you met our lord and saviour, Android?

#9292

Yep, I concur about NWS.

Capture

This is my main source for weather info, and I have to monitor year around, and have been for many, many years. But I have to say I also use a lot of interactive mapping to get a visual on the radar myself. But NWS is my first stop and it what my department uses.

#9293

 Thanks. … Funny thing is, I usually just like to wing it and just make things up as I go. Sometimes things just work out.

There is a recipe for the Cheese Taco Shells that I used though, it can be found here… But I have experimented with different type of cheeses and find the Mexican Cheese blend to work best for us. Cheddar was good, but it puts out a lot of oil!

#9294

I’m actually thinking about seeing what else I can make with these shells. One being Enchiladas, which is something I used to make before Keto and the family always loved them. … But mainly will have to get a sauce made up to work really. The wrap might end up being made more traditional if possible, but think these could work as well?

Have to see…

If you leave out the vinegar, you might have to add a touch more baking powder since vinegar helps it rise. Maybe adding a drop or two of sweetener will mitigate the vinegar taste.

(Karen) #9296

Two fresh eggs from our school house chickens, two strips of bacon, 3/4 cups kale slaw

(Virginia ) #9297

Nope, already taken…lol

#9298

Yep… you ā€˜steaked’ that claim a long time ago.

Also, been the one suggesting I do a book for many years now. Whether recipe related, art related, etc. …

Tonight’s dinner… Meatloaf, Cauliflower, Broccoli w/ Cheddar Cheese, Pickles and Olives.

Note: I did share 1/3 of the meatloaf with the pups. It was quite a bit really. … Someone sliced it quite thick
