Indeed. Another pork belly picture. I’m about halfway through my third pork belly in about two months time. It still hasn’t gotten old. But I’m beginning to think I’m gonna need to switch it up a bit.

I think I’ll add a side of sour cream with this one. (Its cooking as a type this)

This was a total freestyle with the contents of my fridge today. I used garlic, prawns,mushrooms, red peppers, spinach, salt, pepper and a squeeze of lemon and cooked until spinach had wilted. Drained the excess liquid and and added 2 tablespoons of cream cheese, and topped with grated mozzarella. I had 2 servings and was a very happy bunny😀.

We went to a Texas Roadhouse in Allentown, PA, last week and … THEY DIDN’T HAVE ROLLS! I was actually a little shocked. Not that I missed them …

That is odd. I know my wife told them ‘no rolls’ as soon as they went to grab some while seating us. They usually grab a basket of them to walk you to the table with. Like a carrot to a horse I guess! :smile:

Feeling a little better today, but still slightly upset stomach. So went out and picked up a salad and ate a couple pickles at lunch. Then the wife made me another spinach salad with some Salmon for dinner. Plus, yep, more pickles. :slight_smile:

I actually made these about 9 days ago, and they were a big hit. The wife keeps talking about how much more she likes them over regular shells now! :slight_smile: I actually made 3 different types. The Cheddar is good, but releases a lot of oil. The middle one, made with a Taco Cheese Mix, both white and yellow was my favorite, and lastly the Flaxseed Tortilla’s, which I also found good, and very versatile. I can see using them for a lot of things, and I like that they can be made days before needed, where the cheese shells are pretty much made when needed. The Flaxseed at least saves times. … But I would make the Taco Cheese ones as needed.

My wife says this is her favorite plate so far, and says it’s even the prettiest. :wink:
