What did you Keto today?

Oh, OK. Yes, they were very accommodating! I had a taco bowl made for me yesterday at my favorite natural food store. They usually make burritos and tacos, all with tortillas and salads come w/ tortilla chips. I told them no tortillas or chips, so he put some black beans on the bottom, then shredded iceberg lettuce, then a lot of cheese, chicken, scoops of guac, sour cream, and fresh salsa. I was able to eat almost all of it, leaving the black beans on the bottom (although a few escaped and I ate them). Was quite delicious!

Pork rind nachos. Chorizo, Greek yogurt, gauc, cheese, Frank’s hot sauce

Pork Belly Tuesday!

Who says eating out is hard?

Chicken Pollo Rosa Maria at Carraba’s (Italian). My fave for years, except I wolfed down the bread and got fettuccine Alfredo as my side.

This time I asked for no bread, broccoli as my side and oh by the way… could I get some Alfredo sauce on my broccoli???

And it was happy hour so I got a 9 oz glass of house red wine :wine_glass: for the price of a 6 oz.

The cabbage is just a butter carrier…

(Christina) #8805

This is so good! Mine tonight was a salad with blue cheese dressing and the pork belly on top. Delicious!

#8806

At my house too. Vegetables are just a conduit for flavorful fats or sauces.

(bulkbiker) #8807

I my house these days the butter just gets sliced and eaten… no veg required!

(Ernest) #8808

That is always ready to go at a moment’s notice.

(Sophie) #8809

The Pollo Rosa Maria has always been my go to at Carraba’s for years too (also adore the sauteed spinach)! :+1: I love it so much I make a copy cat version at home when I feel like gettin my cook on.

(Hyperbole- best thing in the universe!) #8810

Huh! I wouldn’t have thought of getting a taco salad at a pizza place, but they had everything you needed and can be forgiven for no guacamole. Very clever!

#8811

Didn’t eat yesterday, but the wife still made me a steak last night, so I could take it for lunch today. Actually this is only half, since I started eating without thinking to snap a pic.

(Ernest) #8812

My Google Photos just reminded me that I hosted a BBQ 4 years ago, this week…

#8813

Cooked up some strip steak in the sous-vide, with The Spice Gal’s “Season It Up” blend.

Sorry, no after shot. I was too excited to eat them! :yum:

From two different days-- chocolate chunk cookies! With collagen that somehow makes them chewy and amazing. Ketoconnect recipe.

And a keto stromboli, with hot sausage and riccota and mozzarella cheese, fathead dough crust.

#8815

That looks really good. And the wife actually gasped and said ‘Chocolate Chip Cookies!’ … Something she’s always enjoyed.

(Anne) #8816

They are really good! Its the almond flour chewy chocolate chip cookies from ketoconnect. I chopped up a milk chocolate lily’s bar, but the chocolate chips would be amazing too

#8817

Have to look those up. I’m actually thinking about making something peanut-buttery tonight for her, since she hasn’t had anything sweet for a couple weeks. Maybe Peanut Butter Fudge or Peanut Butter/Chocolate bombs, cream cheese or something. … Just going to wing it.

(Anne) #8818

Time to share another photo! A peanut butter chocolate silk pie I made. So good! With almond flour crust. Awful picpic, but tasted great!

#8819

That looks good as well.

Was just going to eat a salad, but decided to eat some of the other stuff the wife made. This plus, 5 deviled eggs. It’s actually 6 meatballs under the golden browned cheese. Bacon and Cauliflower.

Edit: 5 eggs were harmed in the making of this meal. They didn’t make the photo shoot.
