Oh my drool
What did you Keto today?
Love how easy it is to pick up a Rotisserie Chicken occasionally, but I’m so over the dried up breast. We eat the leg quarters then I make chicken salad with loads of mayo. Problem solved!
Eyes bigger than my stomach. 1/2 lb 73/27 ground beef. 2 strips bacon. 3 tbls butter. 9 eggs. Oof.
Not sure what I was thinking.
Never mind.
Ham Soup - leftover smoked ham shank, bone broth, riced cauliflower, heavy cream, mozzarella, parmesan, dollop of sour cream and everything but the bagel seasoning topper. yum
Hatch Chili Fest time in Ft Worth so the local Mexican place had giant shrimp wrapped in bacon and hatch chilis, beef and chicken fajitas and melted butter to dip it all in. I have leftovers for 2 days now!
Good point. I hadn’t thought of that, but agree. While tasty and pleasureable, substitute sweets don’t seem to evoke the same response for me as the originals. Probably another reason I found myself making them less and less over time (in addition to decreased appetite and cravings for sweets). Still, they hit the spot on occasion.
As I get to know this site better, I think I should post in the Accountability section instead. As I’m 65, I’ll probably name my thread Oldie’s or something like that. Thank you for your support and inspiration so far!
Pork tenderloin revisited:
Eggs Benedict…my style. Bed of spinach and garlic. Pork tenderloin slices, browned in ghee. Topped with fried eggs and hollandaise
That’s not all for just me
I made taco salad tonight with fresh tomatoes, black olives, cilantro dressing, and cheese. And made cheese crisps, for the first time ever they came out perfect.
