Hi @Tmdlkwd, I buy it at Molly Stone’s grocery here in the SF Bay Area. They started carrying it several months ago; I tried it when they were handing out samples. I don’t think it is as salty-tasting as Kerrygold.

Never tried it. I use a fair amount of kerrygold, but usually where I’m going to really taste the butter, like slabs on steak or bacon, or on a butter cheese sandwich (which in my opinion is best done with thick slices of Tillimook Cheddar and Kerrygold). For just general cooking and sauces l still just use regular butter from Costco, that’s about $10 for 4 lbs.

So I guess I’m only a partial butter duche, not full blown yet.

Was walking back through one of the fields with the dogs yesterday morning and spotted a bunch of mushrooms that im pretty sure were not there 2 days ago. And ive never seen these ones ever, here or anywhere else in the 16 years ive lived here… so got back home… did some research… yeah… edible and tasty!
(Important, since just because you can eat something dosent always mean your gonna want to…)
Agaricus campestris. Aka field mushrooms. Apperently used to be quite common.
And since you can bet large sums of money on nobody eles around here picking and eatting them, i should hopefully have an ongoing supply for the next few months

Which led to this monings breakfast
Wild mushroom and smoked garlic duck egg omlet with port salute cheese
And pork sausages.

Goat cheese and bacon on top of a deviled egg st a local restaurant.

Breakfast this morning. Chorizo and peppers in omelette. Side order of bacon AND andouille sausage.

@hedleylo, have not tried Greenfields, nor I have I seen it in the store. If it’s anything like Kerrygold though, it should be delicious!
