Yeah, it’s hard to reverse life-long conditioning, but at least I’ve found the One True Path and know it intellectually. You don’t even need faith on this diet, just hard core science.
What did you Keto today?
Started with the fat fast meal “bacon pecan spaghetti” on the bottom (using shiritake noodles). Then heated up a tbs of bacon fat in the 6" cast iron skillet and added 5oz leftover steak, half a small tomato, and half an avocado. Sprinkled with a little creole seasoning (the same used in the base recipe) and some salt. Once it was all heated through, I used a silicone spatula to scrape everything on top of the noodle dish and to make sure I got as much of the fat out of the pan as possible.
I’m going to do it again tonight, but with chicken thigh instead.
Last nights…
crispy bacon & bacon fat to cook lots of rainbow chard and spinach in, (pine nuts in there to) butter fried sampire and grilled parmesan hake with a garlic butter hollandaise sauce.

Plus a cheddar jalapeño sausage link they make themselves.

I started off with a low carb tortilla (5 net carbs). I put it in the oven while the broiler was heating up to drive out some of the moisture. I pulled it out once it was somewhat crisp on both sides.
I then added 2 tablespoons of low carb marinara (4 net per 1/4 cup), mozzarella, pepperoni, black olives, mushroom, bacon bits, crushed red pepper, oregano, and a drizzle of olive oil before throwing it back under the broiler to finish off.
Very satisfying. I almost couldn’t finish it… amost
I don’t always eat breakfast but when I do it won’t be any damn bagels or cereal.
Eggs, bacon, steak; cooked in bacon drippings and topped with real butter.

Indian chicken skewers (thigh meat) , and crispy chicken skin and some peppers on the bbq, salad and lil bread things that were not naans… (theres recipes for making “keto” naan type bread but i dident have the right stuff so just made a kinda flatbread… was ok but Im gonna get the stuff to make them properly next time.) mint creme fresh
On Fri. I SV’d 2lbs of hamburgers…some for now, some for later. I love the SV for that. Here’s last nights on a Keto Bun and home grown tomato! … Had a side of copycat KFC cole slaw (not pictured) to go with…
