I know it’s just mental but have done 72hrs unplanned then realised and had to eat but struggle with anything planned for more than 24hrs.
What did you Keto today?
grilled chicken. The misconception to grilling is that, you have to have food directly over the coals. That’s a huge NO! Especially when it comes to chicken.
Hi! Can you tell me how you seasoned your pork butt? I’m about to put one in the pressure cooker. I was going to make it like carnitas, but this picture makes me open to other suggestions.
Keto chocolate chip cookies with Lillys chocolate chips, almond flour and swerve. I rather like the cooling effect of erythritol.
Not bad, and I’d consider making them again.
Smoked chicken leg quarters for dinner. Sprinkled with homemade rotisserie chicken seasoning and smoked on the grill for about three hours.
I make a dry rub for my pork. I adjusted the rub I’ve used for years to be keto by omitting white sugar and replacing brown sugar with sukrin gold. This makes enough for several racks of ribs or a good sized pork butt.
2 Tbsp sukrin gold
2 Tbsp salt
2 Tbsp paprika
1 Tbsp garlic powder
1 Tbsp cumin
1 tsp cayenne
1 tsp dry mustard
When I worked for Sears in the 70’s, it was The Prime Directive. The only part of it that survives is their lifetime guarantee on Craftsman tools.
Have you ever watched Megha and matt on YouTube? They have a really great chocolate chip cookie with a secret ingredient!!
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ixbbQjisAgo I believe this is the video. Apparently the “secret ingredient” makes them very chewy like real cookies.
@Tricia_Roth, their website is ketoconnect.net, podcast is “keto for normies” and majority of their website recipes are on YouTube. They have a new recipe book, too. They are the #1 keto YouTube channel.
Yes! I’m meaning to pick up their cookbook eventually, once I get my weight down. I’m avoiding snacks right now but all their recipes look great.
