What did you Keto today?

#7036

Guess you have to be careful with that dish, I think I see 3 starches

Fathead bagels continue to serve me well. This morning, double fried egg, ham, cheese and spinach. All that greasy goodness may or may not be butter leaking from my Sammy. Ha. Have a great day keto peeps!

(Candy Lind) #7038

OK, ya got me - where??

(Candy Lind) #7039

I gotta make some bagels for myself & some biscuits for hubby, to take on the truck. Some days, breakfast is BPC … but some days, a breakfast bagel is calling my name. :smiling_imp:

(Mandy) #7040

I love them! they are my new favorite. breakfast was BPC for a week or so but the bagels with a heavy slather of cream cheese are my new favorite but I am a sucker for cream cheese…could eat it with a spoon!

@CandyLindTX, @rhltechie I see these are on clearance for only $4 each.

I have 4 of that size and 4 of the 80mm ones (for english muffin sammy’s)

I pre-mix my egg and usually bake 4 of them at a time in my toaster oven - 425 for about 20 minutes if pre-heated, 30 minutes from a cold start.
Each tray holds about 1 1/2 large eggs.

Then you do up a bunch of sausage that you’ve used a patty stacker to make a reasonable size, pre-cook and freeze them in sandwich bags with the eggs that you’ve made.

Makes breakfast sammy’s to go really quick!!!

Thank you for this tip! I have tried roasted radishes, but I don’t think the family tried them. We are doing our first big camping trip this weekend and I’ve been struggling with the menu. And frankly, been a bit down in the dumps. No beans? No corn? No mother effing hashbrowns???!!! no OREOS (Made some keto friendly chocolate biscotti that is ok’ish tho)

I’ll bring my bacon nectar and pick up radishes some daikon and play around.

3 Sausage McNothin’ (I added the sour cream at home)

What’s the recipie for this?

(Ernest) #7046

A lot of butter in a double boiler set up, 3 while eggs and 2 yolks. Medium heat, start stirring non-stop until you reach your desired consistency. Salt and feast.
Steak is salt and pepper, sous vide at 131 degrees for minimum 2 hours. Sear and feast.

#7047

just guessing, but loos like carrot, corn and maybe potatoe

(Lonnie Hedley) #7048

What? Where? (Besides the low carb mini corn)

(Rob) #7049

Oooh oooh ooooh… can we all play? :raised_hand:

I see peppers, onions and mini-corn!

Do I win anything? :money_mouth_face:

(Lonnie Hedley) #7050

Are those considered starches or just low carb veggie options (onion may be a little higher for some depending on their preferences).

(Rob) #7051

I wouldn’t consider them starches, just on the sweeter end of keto veggies…

…but I was trying to win my $5! :triumph:

(Lonnie Hedley) #7052

I only eat animal products so I’m not really sure what a starch looks like on someone’s plate. Only that I don’t tell people what they should be careful what they eat since I’m not the boss of them.

(Rob) #7054

Throwing in the “thin cut” just for a bit of variety! Or is that butter an inch think?

And where do you find the chickens that lay the 3 yolk eggs?

(Mandy) #7055

good idear! I had come to the conclusion that I would make more of a bun the next time I make fathead bread. i make lots of sammys with them and all goods come out the hole! hahaha
