You might want to get yourself some Ghee. Higher smoke point and similar delicious flavour.

Apple wood grilled pork loin.

Sous vide pork chop, one week old hollandaise sauce. I figured out a foolproof way to store, reheat and use again. Sous vide and a stick blender. Now i can make a big batch of it.

Standard prep for any meat,

  1. Season with salt on shopping day.
  2. Vacuum seal until needed (freeze or refrigerate)
  3. Day of cooking, season with black pepper and a touch of chipotle powder.
  4. Smoke at 225. Or however you want to cook.

Is that herbed butter on top?

(*Rusty* Instagram: @Rustyk61) #6227

It’s very simple.

It’s equal parts low cal or reduced sugar ketchup and yellow mustard, with a few drops of ghost pepper extract. You could really use any hot sauce that you like if your not into super hot ghost peppers. Just start with a tablespoon of each and add your hot sauce of choice. Then you can adjust your amounts as needed. I’ll be making it as a dipping sauce for my bacon and shrimp tonight.

Yep. I make a log from 2 Kerrygold bricks and keep it handy for… everything!!

Breakfast for OMAD.

Daikon radish homefries inspired by @maternalone’s thread. I had originally done them last night in my cast iron - reheated them this morning in bacon nectar - but they were still a little crunchy. (thinking I’ll try baking them in the oven for awhile, before combining with onion and frying them up). Flavour was quite nice though - I tend to add a fair bit of paprika to my home fries.
Three over easy eggs and 7 strips of super-crispy bacon.

Indulged in chocolate chip keto cookies. Recipe is great! Subbed pecans with flaked coconut, didn’t use molasses or arrowroot, used 200g powdered erithrytol, one bar of 85% lindt chocolate, and baked for much longer.
