What did you Keto today?

(TJ Borden) #5709

The brunch party ran long so I whipped up a sausage, goat cheese, and roasted red pepper fat head pizza.

How do they taste?

(Tim Adams) #5711

I like them. I think they are better fried up as a quesadilla than they are as a soft taco or burrito.

Icelandic dried fish dipped in butter. Traditional Icelandic snak

#5713

Now that’s something I’d not heard of. Interesting.

(Hoteski) #5714

It’s really nice and about as keto as you can get . Fish is 82g protein per 100g 0 carb and butter is well … Butter.

It’s called harðfiskur, hard fish

Traditional Viking snack as our traditional foods are from them.

So excited that our local cafe is catching on! A Keto friend was talking up BPC and they decided to serve it! Well it’s really just a fatty coffee with some nice frothed unsalted butter and organic coconut oil but I’m not going to quibble! They listened! They’re also offering a mug egg with your choice of sausage bacon or pulled pork! Yum! #hometownketorevolution

My wife asked me today, “Can you have cheesecake on this ridiculous way you eat?”

It got me thinking… Hey, why not? So I whapped together 2 tbs of cream cheese and mixed in 4 drops of liquid sucralose…

And here I thought cheesecake was a LOT more complicated  That’s like 99% of it right there!

Sorry your wife isn’t on board w Keto. Mix this together (in a blender, until fluffy ) and she may change her mind!
8 oz Philadelphia Cream Cheese (room temp)
1/2 cup HWC
1/8 cup Swerve confectioners
1/2 tsp lemon extract (or vanilla)
Top with a few berries if you’d like
Serves 8

Do you ever have those days where you just have a trip round your fridge using everything keto combined that’s needs used? Today’s Frankenstein was an old leek fried in butter with diced left over hungarian salami, remainder of a capsicum, cashew and pecorino pesto, the odds and ends of a few cheeses and a pack of bacon that needed used with lots of cracked pepper and Himalayan sea salt. Result was super awesomeness, fatty and incredibly filling!

First time making these chocolate fat bombs… Great way to cure chocolate/sweet cravings…

(Stacy) #5723

Lazy weekend brunch of eggs with a bit of Boursin cheese, a bit of leftover steak, mushrooms fried in butter and guacamole …delish!

(Ernest) #5724
