They were not hot at all, I guess the heat cooks the heat out of them. They just taste like turnips. I wasn’t crazy about them but since they are cheap, healthy and low carb I’ll keep eating them.
Next time I make them I am going to cut them in half and roast them at a low temp for a long time in a pan with olive oil.
I had some particularly large radishes this last time (I cut in 1/2 or 3rds depending on size), and they were nice & tender in 30 minutes (I turned them after 20), with a bit of charring on the edges. YUM.
