I love ceviche but it is not easy to find in my neighbourhood. Do you make your own and if so, could you share your recipe/method? It looks amazing!!!

(Cathy) #5680

I look forward to seeing it! Enjoy!

Again, post workout…pork belly, eggs cooked in pork belly juice! And a few fresh jalapeños. Salt, salt and more salt!

(Robert Kuhar) #5682

Sure thing. I’m actually making a video on it right now. But I’ll run you through the basics.

Start with a fresh, white, and non-oily fish. Vacuumed sealed frozen is ok but fresh will have a better texture.

Cut it up into 1/2-inch chunks and let it sit in a bath of lime juice. toss to make sure everything is covered.
Cut 1/4 white onion into slices and let that sit in a cup of ice water (takes the “bite” out of the onion.)

Add cilantro, chopped tomato, Salt/pepper, and hot chilis to taste to the fish and lime mixture. Finally, add the onions and give it another toss before scooping it out to serve.

Prawns & sprouts pan fried in garlic & ginger butter.

(Liz) #5684

Hi…do the radishes lose some of their peppery bite? It’s weird I like chilli etc but not radishes…but they are low carb, so if they roast well and taste more turnipy then they would be a winner.

(Candy Lind) #5685

 Beee-yoooo-teee-ful!

(Candy Lind) #5686

I’ll answer for @Melis - I do NOT like raw radishes, but they become very mild when cooked. I just finished cooking a pot roast with roasted radishes, celery, carrots & green beans and I’m pretty sure it’s going to pass the “husband test!”

(Candy Lind) #5687

And here is said pot roast …

(Marie Dantoni) #5688

Salmon, brussel sprouts, sriracha mayo.
