Ooh that looks good!
What did you Keto today?
Had the chili above only with two ounces of medium soft goat cheese (like chalky cream cheese) melted in. Very nice.
After cooking a lot of keto the past few days, today I had to do some delayed clean-up in the kitchen. Ack! Cooking keto certainly puts a greasy film on so many things.
Itās literally a dirty job, but itās got to be done. The luscious foods make up for it however.
I just saw this video for Keto Carbonara from Headbangerās Kitchen the other day and really want to try making it. Iām going to make his butter chicken wings this weekend.
Super easy too. I was seriously impressed, and Iām an old broad thatās been around the block a few times, so thatās saying something!
I actually prefer Bakerās chocolate to any other 100% chocolate (including this one) that Iāve tried.
Looks good. Thanks for showing me!
I think Iād still make an effort to take some moisture out of the noodles before using them. His suffered the same wetness that mine did. Definitely worth another try.
Iām not sure this will make clean-up easier, but this is one of the best things Iāve learned here.
I have a zucchini sausage casserole that I make sometimes and I will let the zucchini sit overnight in a colander with a bowl underneath with something heavy weighted on top of the zucchini. I started doing this when my first couple of attempts resulted in soupy casserole. This works like a charm. I think you can also put it in a colander for a shorter time with salt to draw out the moisture.
Sous Vide Sirloin Steak on a bed of tallow fried Broccoli & Chorizo with Cheddar crisps.
Followed by Blueberries & whipped cream with crushed pistachiosā¦
I am stuffed. Honestly guys I donāt think I can take much more of this weight reducing food every night!
I just bought some after a long wait (due to price - had it in my Amazon wishlist for a while), because I watched Hifalutinā Low Carbās cornbread battle on Youtube. Canāt wait to try it.
I think youāll be happy with it. I was ecstatic when I got my first whiff and approached Nirvana when I actually used it in that cornbread recipe. It compliments almond meal perfectly the for texture, which is why I suggested it for Tamales. Thatās something that I have in the works, on my long list. I think itāll be just the ticket! Be sure to let us know what you think.
I got curious⦠these are pork rind pancake pizzas! Thanks, @Brenda!!
Busy night, one son had baseball practice, I had theater rehearsal so for myself I made another big pot of jambalaya that could slow cook while we were gone.
This time I added in more cayenne and was generous with the hot sauce and red pepper. I had some chicken andouille sausage and another kind of chicken sausage along with some leftover chicken that went in there. The rice is, of course, cauliflower.
I love this pot, itās an old Belgian one that had belonged to my stepfather. I have no idea how old it is but my brother got a little irritated when I got it. Weāre both cooks.
