Actually it’s a cheap one I got from Big Lots last year. It works pretty well. I’m wanting to get some bigger ones as it’s what I really like to cook in.
I bought 6lbs of bacon today.
Cast iron is awesome. Yours looked like a vintage one to me. I like to keep a look out for those.
Found this at target today. Not usually what I buy but my butcher is still on vacation. But it was also nice…? To see… they’re coming for us guys!!! LOL
Ham and philly cheese (sandwiched together), a ton of mushrooms, a few peas in plenty of ghee, salt and some onion flakes. A glass of flat champagne lol! it was left over from Christmas.
Can’t go wrong with eggs and beef. I’m ramping up today to start a 96 hour fast tonight! More boring pictures to come today.
The first meal I ate my porchetta with was left overs of my hot sour soup from a few days ago
… look at that crackling.
And surprising ketone results 1.8 mmol/l 3 hours after after eating that pork belly which is unusually high for me.
How is everyone’s 90 second bread looking so much better than mine? What is the best recipe people have found and any tricks?
I have been trying to make it, and it tastes like sawdust and egg. I grill it in butter afterward too but it still comes out dry and yucky. Maybe I googled 90 second bread and found a bad recipe.or maybe it’s just not for me.
Couple of small FATTY chuck steaks and a spinach salad for lunch.
Rib roast is out of the fridge and resting on the counter. It will go in the oven about 1:30.
3 tbsp almond flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 1/2 tbsp butter --melt it!
1 egg
Pinch of salt
Stir small together til it looks like corn muffin mix - then pop in the microwave 90 seconds. I pull it out, allow to cool a bit, and slice. Then I toasted on a DRY skillet, and schmear with peanut butter or butter and SF jam.
