Yeah, I bought the rings a while ago for almost nothing, and decided to dig them out this week and try them, and then fasted for most of the week #genius
I really want the runny yolks, but because these stack more vertically than normal because of the rings, it is a little hard to tell how to balance the whites and the yolks. Next time, I think I’ll not add all of the whites to the ring.
Yeah, photography is mostly about good light more than anything. A good lens helps (this (Fuji 90/2) is my second favourite lens in my time as a photographer (ignoring specialty stuff for motorsports, etc.), but nothing can beat good light. (i.e. it’s like diet, no matter what else you do, if diet is poor, nothing else will save you.)
These were good but no better than that. Good starting point though, I got some usable data.
 
      
    






 … Basically I stuffed Dill pickles with steak & cheese and wrapped them in bacon. Then took the rest of the meat I made, added some Rao’s to a sauce pan and baked the rest along with the wraps. Then added some sides (Pickles, Olives, Deviled Eggs and Greek Yogurt) to complete the plate. Was pretty good after fasting the past 4 days, and I’m kind of surprised how much the dill’s resembled Jalapeno Peppers when done like this. (also added the insides of the Dill’s to the Deviled Eggs)
