What Did You Keto Today? The Trilogy!
Made some fresh salsa from garden tomatoes, peppers and onion. Had to buy some cilantro at the grocery - mine has bolted from the heat.
You have to keep planting some seeds every couple of weeks.
Had some friends over for a curry! We started with mulligatawny soup
Then we had beef madras and chicken korma, I also did a cauliflower bhaji
And …look away now ketoers🙃
Pilau rice (no I didn’t eat any!)
Then for dessert, lemon, cardamon and rose water posset, with creme fraiche, crushed pistachios and rose petals, dusted with rose pink glitter!

That looks like a lovely meal, and your guests seem happy. Are they doing Keto as well? You are doing great and looking good! It must feel great only being 30 pounds away from your goal weight; I am sure that you are already feeling healthier now and will continue!

Yes I’m feeling well and have lost 50lb in the last year. My losses have slowed down but I just KCKO!

Dinner tonight? A keto griller’s feast. Lamb short ribs marinated in beer, London broil steak coated in Kirkland Sweet Mesquite Rub, boneless chicken thighs with lemon pepper seasoning, Pork Sirloin Tip Roast marinated in garlic, lemon and a bit of Montreal Seasoning. I did have some veggies/fruit…one each of roasted manzano chile and jalapeno pepper.
I could feel them cringing from here.
24 hour Sous vide steak, seared on the rooftop BBQ! Salad with a fresh homemade dill dressing (discovered a nice little public herb garden down by the river).
I’m so glad this weekend is over. I’m at a family reunion and they had too many temptations! I jad two pieces of cake. Earlier I had gone shopping and bought a pair off shorts at the store that fit really nicely. After I had the cake hours later I came home and got changed to go out to dinner and put on those new shorts and man they were tight. Just that quick from eating that cake. Luckily for me, in the morning I have a 4 1/2 hour drive back home which I will not stop for food and I’m going to try to fast as long as possible tomorrow
I made room for 15-18 carbs for this meal. Keto cloud bread pancakes, 2 eggs, bacon (I know…), and a monk fruit sweetened maple flavored syrup for 15g of total carbs a serving (1g of net carbs per serving). It’s ridiculously great. Cloud breads offically make THE best Keto pancake alternative.
I don’t have a pic, because frankly it was sooo sad looking it would’ve been pointless lol - went to HuHot Mongolian Grill…avoided all sweet sauces and opted for garlic broth, ginger broth, and garlic oil over beef and chicken, zoodles, mushrooms, kale, cilantro. Thank God for cilantro, it was the only flavor at all, no garlic flavor and the meat was dry and rubbery. That was my first and last time dining there, sad too, because the staff was super friendly and all their nutritional info with sugar and carbs was easily found online. I thought I had eaten at one of these in San Antonio years ago and it was great…definitely not the same place
