Zoodles with Italian Sausage and Eggs
Yum
My Wife actually just mentioned this early today. Wondering if she would need a permit. Told her down here, a lot of folks do just this.
Just set up in front of the house. But I’m not sitting out there! I spend enough time working the Garden, picking and washing the stuff.
I don’t know if you have a local farmers or growers market, but you might see what they charge to set up a table, depending on your state should be able to sell in that type of venue without any permits/special permission needed
David Stilley…I dedicate this post to you lol, first time ever having sauerkraut in my life, and it’s fantastic!
No, folks do it all the time around here. And yes, we have a bunch of Farmers Markets around here. Amish have quite a few of them, but there are many others as well. One guy is just down the street from me, and he sets up right at his house, which sits on the main road. But she was just wondering.
Found myself in Chichester today so I spent a very long time in the beautifully air-conditioned Montezuma’s shop… I hope it’s still solid now I’ve got it home - it’s HOT out there!
Only been doing Keto two weeks and have been trying to stay away from nuts or nut flours but caved and made Keto dough to hug my hot dog. Used pork rinds for the onion ring breading and only had 6 rings. I hope it doesn’t affect me too much. It was yummy and the crunch on the onion rings was really nice.
I’d be a lot happier with the 28 degrees Chichester had today compared to the 32 we’ve had. It’s only just cooled to 28 now
You’re making me want chocolate now too
Tried a couple of recipes @David_Stilley posted a link to.
One is cucumber dill and the other is Curtido, a dish from El Salvador. It has carrots, onion, peppers, cumin seed and lime juice - should be interesting!
The cucumber and dill are from my garden.
Wish I’d been nearer the beach with more of a breeze - the centre of town was unbearable! Car thermometer claimed 32. I think it was similar at home (a little further east).
Still, I had my Panama hat and long-sleeved shirt to keep the sun at bay! And hanging out in both air-conditioned shops and the nice cool cathedral helped…
The chocolate supplies have dwindled since my last post. Scrummy. And even better news: Mr S DOESN’T LIKE IT! #yessssss
I took this earlier this afternoon, before it got to its hottest
This is now, and I believe it could be true based on how hot it still is
Steak fajitas. I really need to invest in a good sharp chef’s knife, I sliced up a roast for the meat with an old ceramic knife and it was a total pain.
Lets start with mentioning that my butcher is freaking awesome! He has a cold smoker and regularly makes me smoked bacon to order.
I love ribeyes… I love smoked meats… and last week I thought… hmmm… has anyone ever cold smoked ribeyes?..
The result of that idea was delivered to my door yesterday .
Meet the 700g maple smoked tomahawk/bone in ribeyes.
Onto the grill this evening (which promptly triggered a thunder and lightning storm of epic proportions followed by God kicking over all the buckets available for the most torrential deluge known to man. Luckyly I have a large rain sail set up and with the addition of a large brolly we managed.
By the way, it was 6:30 out…it only looks dark because of the quantity of black clouds and pishing rain)
Served with baby toms and shiitake mushrooms grilled in herbed bone marrow butter
And Yes… they were AWESOME !!!
