This is brilliant. I’m gonna give it a whirl. Did you do store bought or your own?
What Did You Keto Today? The Trilogy!
I’ve done both homemade and store bought in the past. If I’m buying it, I look for the bottled Alfredo without added seed oils, but I don’t remember which brand right now. I then add more garlic to it.
So here I am just embarking on a month of dairy free, and you go and post this… I’m glad you enjoyed it and hope it was enough enjoyment for both of us
Rao’s Homemade looks like it might be a good choice. Light Cream, butter, several types of cheese, eggs. No seed oils. Does have some cornstarch. About 2g carbs per 1/4 cup (200g) serving.
I’ve used it in the past and have a jar on the shelf right now.
Grilled ribeye, cucumbers with a sweet ‘n sour dressing, and Brussels sprouts drizzled with baconnaise which had melted deliciously all over them by the time I took the pic.
The next time someone asks me “But what can you eat??” Imma send them this picture.
OMAD today… Olives, Pepperoni, Cheese-Burger, Fried Liver, Fried Onions and a dish the wife threw together with Squash, Chopped Tomatoes and Italian Sausage. I asked her to toss in fried Mushrooms to compliment it, and I also added a little Rao’s Sauce just to help gather it all up nicely.
Dinner. Mealime creation. Zoodles with simmered tomato sauce and beef meatballs. Interestingly the meatballs had cumin in it but you really couldn’t taste it
Crab stuffed salmon
Bacon and salad
All but carnivore-ish now
90-95%
Nice to get some greens in…occasionally
Beyond Evil…
Seriously testing and winging it.
Ditched the ramen noodles, just like that seasoning.
Added some mushrooms, dropped an egg, flavor packet, the carb friendly noodles, and green onions.
Holy holy, some cilantro, lime, and pinch more salt for the win!!!
First try at posting here! Started Keto about two weeks ago. Love the photos. So many ideas!
Dinner:
Fried salmon in bacon grease, soy sauce and butter. Doused broccoli in a butter, cream cheese, cheddar sauce.
It’s shocking here! But will be going home after a night shift to sleep through it!
Have a nice day😎
Lemon and lime cheesecake mousse for tonight and tomorrow. The thing I never liked about cheesecake was always the base - reminds me of soggy stale biscuits, ugh ugh ugh - so I like to just do the cheesy bit of the cheesecake, call it ‘mousse’ and revel in the lack of effort required.
Net carbs of around 35g in the whole recipe - I’ve split it between five ramekins this time, so 7g each.
170ml double cream
500g cream cheese
A lemon, rind and juice
A lime, rind and juice
4 to 6 dsp Splenda, to taste
In terms of flavour and texture it exceeds the sum of its very simple parts.
And I have to wait until this evening to eat it. Darn…
I made these burger patty things out of ground turkey and spices (trying to include more turkey to see if the tryptophan helps me sleep any better), topped with fresh eggs of course, and a dairy free fatty coffee.
