What Did You Keto Today? The Trilogy!

(Rebecca 🌸 Frankenfluffy) #8950

For the first time this spring ALL our breakfast eggs are doubles. Jackpot! Today feels like the perfect keto day!

('Jackie P') #8951

Omg! What are the chances! Next time eh!:joy:

The chilli/ginger/garlic vege/pork hotch potch looks ugly but was delicious. That bowl is seriously huge, photos don’t give a sense of scale.
Felt like comfort food for dinner so made my “porridge” and a 1 minute english muffin.

I believe ‘goog’ is the way a very young child says ‘egg’ when learning to put sounds together. I trained as a speech pathologist (in Sydney) many years ago and ‘goog’ was used as an example of a normal speech development process called assimilation - its easier for kids to learn consonant+vowel+consonant than vowel+consonant, so they put the same sound on both ends. Hence ‘mum’ ‘dad’ (‘f’ developes later so is said as ‘d’) and ‘goog’. (Doesn’t explain the ‘oo’ instead of ‘e’ though)
You can’t get much fuller than a goog.
There’s your bit of useless trivia for today!

Omg Australia too!!?? I just don’t get it!
I’m confused :worried:

Saturday OMAD (No Pic):

16oz Prime Rib and appetizer order of naked wings from Longhorn. (Longhorn’s prime rib is not NEAR as good as Texas Roadhouse.)

.
.

Sunday OMAD

14oz [GF/F 85/15] Ground beef, 2oz mozzarella cheese and 6 eggs, 1 slice raw beef liver.

My Mum feels a bit off colour today, so she had soup and I had

Ribeye steak with green beans and asparagus!
PS, I didn’t eat all the beans (but I did mop up all the butter)

@CrackerJax @JulesyMcJulesface still normal amounts of TP to be found in the US, what does it mean?

All the chicken was gone the other day when I was shopping. :joy::joy::joy::cowboy_hat_face:

Bacon and eggs on the flattop griddle with a grilled cheese sandwich. Aldi has a zero carb bread, it sure tasted like grilled cheese.
Blueberry Clafoutis

(Brandy) #8959

I’ve got no tolerance for fasting today. The syrup is just three frozen strawberries, heated to thaw then blitzed with an immersion blender.

(Diana) #8960

Update. Made the brisket…AMAZING!

only problem…I thought the 2.25 lb brisket would result in several meals…my hubby and I nearly ate all of it LOL. I know it doesn’t seem like a lot but since it was higher fat content I thought it would stretch longer. Oh well, onto plan B for tomorrow’s meals.

#8961

Wonderful, Diana!

Yeah, mine was about 8 or 9 lbs, and we ending up eating it in two days!

I’ve got to learn portion control, but it tasted soooo good, I just had to eat all I could!

(Rebecca 🌸 Frankenfluffy) #8962

Awww, hope she feels much better soon! Xxx

(Rebecca 🌸 Frankenfluffy) #8963

What is this foreign language, @dlc96_darren?
‘Portion control’? Whasssat?

:thinking::rofl::wink:

('Jackie P') #8964

Thank you :slightly_smiling_face:

#8965

Keto taught us to eat to satiety - if your body thinks that satiety is reached at 4.5lb of brisket, well then, you cant argue with nature…#comonsense #brisket=life

I just went shopping for a variety of things and went past the tissue and TP Aisle. It’s been decimated. I have no idea why people are buying so much toilet paper just because there’s a chance of a moderately virulent flu. Fortunately I was just there to buy hamburger, and tea.

(Michael - When reality fails to meet expectations, the problem is not reality.) #8967

#8968

Today’s OMAD is a ground pork stir fry with basil…

('Jackie P') #8969

This toilet paper thing is doing my ruddy 'ead in!
