Felt I needed this Sunday breakfast!
What Did You Keto Today? The Trilogy!
I finally got my Amazon dot set up yesterday so this morning has been a nice mixture of an indoor hiit, and a little boogie in the kitchen while I make chaffles For the freezer!
A little dish of my nuts with a glass of sparkling … water
Followed by a lamb shank with butter braised cabbage, cauliflower puree, brussels sprouts, and … back on the carrot!

You are allowed to have 20 g of carbohydrate today I doubt if a few little carrot slices will push you over the edge
I bought silicone molds for poached eggs a few months ago (aliexpress) and decided to try them out…not happy, won’t use them next time.
Eggs benedict (without bread for me) and my husband’s beef tartare and buratta.
*no animals were harmed in the making of this photo…
@CrackerJax- The coating is half pork panko (ground pork rinds) and half grated Parmesan with added spices. The rolls got an egg dunk, then a coating roll and were baked in the oven.
Sunday night is often curry night at Chateau Snaps - but thanks to Storm Ciara we have been on low power since 4.20pm and then sporadic total power cuts interspersed with what we’re calling ‘half-fat lighting’ thanks to UK Power Networks turning the ‘oomph’ down!
Hence the grainy picture of tonight’s non-curry! Thank God for a scrag end of lettuce, a pack of ham and some hard boiled eggs in the fridge. Oh, and the WINE… Lack of heating means blankets and wine!
The microwave was taunting us with its LED clock display. Sadly not enough power there to cook anything. And actually all I want now is a hot cup of tea…
Lunch, extra yummy due to snow shoveling beforehand but ate a bit extra as well…?
Creamed Cheesy chicken with spinach on buttered cauliflower ‘rice’ w pine nuts. Not shown slices of fermented carrot !!
Sorry you are having problems, we seem to have escaped unscathed, although we have news of a scattering of powercuts nearby.
Fridge dinner, wine and extra blankets sounds fun though.
