Sorry to hear you’ve got sore tootsies! I’ve only ever ONCE seen your feet with shoes on on here - I truly hope you’re wearing Sensible Shoes today (capital letters are in honour of sounding like my mother)…
Shepherd’s pie - I made the mince mix in the slow cooker a couple of days ago (lamb, pork, celery, onions, celery seed, oregano, ground coriander, ground cumin, beef stock cube) - I don’t pre-cook anything, just shove it in the pot, massage it all together after breakfast, set it to ‘auto’ and give it a good stir when I get home from work - then to make the pie I topped 2 portions of the mince with caulimash (frozen cauliflower, a load of grated cheese, nutritional yeast, salt and pepper). More cheese on top.
Mince mix was 6 portions - still 2 in the freezer! LOVE an instant meal kit!
Saturday OMAD:
Ribeye w/ butter and 4 raw egg yolks. Also some hog head cheese and a couple of spoons of cottage cheese.
Dinner out. Treat from MIL
Salmon and tomatoes with Parmesan on top of spinach instead of pasta. Brandy cream sauce
Again with the pork ribs. I may have this dinner a lot, but the truth is- I don’t have to cook when it’s ribs night. Instead, my husband spends the better part of a day babying them along in his smoker, and I skate free. Makes him happy. Makes me happy.
Made some breakfast (took my eye off the bacon - too crispy - and I HATE scrambled eggs that are cooked into spongy oblivion like this, rather than gorgeously creamy - but I’d popped outside to feed mealworms to the tame blackbird, whose breakfast was at least as important as ours, and the eggs suffered!).
Then I made soup for lunch today and tomorrow - @CrackerJax please note keto use of non-keto ice cream tub!
Haha!! Next time I’m in London I’ll put my slippers on I love them so much! Much more sensible for my funny looking feet!
