Normal I do meatloaf with a pork mince/sausage combo, or half beef, half pork - this was beef (and bacon, and pork fat) all the way, and I’m already looking forward to the leftovers!
Too much wine. #itsfriday
No picture, but I had the first 4 pieces of 6 pounds of bacon I baked (in preparation for going back on the road Monday), then the last of our leftover prime rib from Christmas along with some “caullini “ (like broccolini only cauliflower-ish. I had never seen it before and it was marked down, so I tried it.) with butter, then a little bit of Keto ice cream and two fresh-from-the-oven keto chocolate chip cookies. It’s good that I’m leaving my oven behind - I need to get away from the sweets for a while.

At the weekends I usually allow myself some dairy and chocolate…and I know today is Saturday…but it was only three days ago that I was shovelling cheese into my mouth whilst shouting ‘YOLO’ at the top of my lungs so I’ve decided to keep this weekend a treat free weekend to give myself a fighting chance of shifting these holiday pounds! Lunch today is a cheese free Chafflewich!
