Goat brie with sunflower kernels and fresh chopped basil. Almost baked it too long… was creamy and delicious
I guess I omitted the ‘It’s ironic that…’ from the beginning of my post! Cos what I actually wrote really isn’t going to work!!!
Could have done with your expertise today, Jackie - the practice nurse took my dressing off AND PEELED THE STERI STRIPS OFF IN THE WRONG DIRECTION! I was very cross. Thankfully the six days that had passed since they had been stuck on had been enough for the wound edges to knit, but HONESTLY! It throbbed for an hour afterwards!
What @CandyLindTX said!!
If/when I make my way across the pond, I’m inviting myself over for some steak…I’ll bring some of our autochthonous piggy delights
Awww poor you, I’m glad it’s healing though.
I hope the post traumatic stress is better too.
ok … you win. I keep seeing you posting your pictures of Cottage Cheese and I caved and got me some in the grocery order for this weekend. I have ALWAYS loved cottage cheese (even as a fat kid), I will just have to make sure to go easy on it as the one I ordered does have 5g of carb per 1/2 cup … but it is milk and from an animal …
I’m sure you will enjoy it too. But yep, mine is the same, being 5g per 1/2 cup. But I usually only do about a 1/2 cup, plus I sometimes also have Greek Yogurt with it… Like today. 1/2 cup of each.
Wife made Chili last night, but we all decided to forego eating any til today. (Chili’s always better the days following) - Chili, Pepperoni, Pickles, Olives, Greek Yogurt, Cottage Cheese, Tea. Then snacked on some Pecans, Vienna’s and 2 Squares of Ghirardelli Intense Dark Chocolate.
It was horrendous I tell ya…
It may just happen again. I blame my klutzy feet!
MEATLOAF!
Minced beef, bacon, plus sausage, bacon & pork belly grease (+ seasonings, an egg and loads of herbs), served with supermarket coleslaw and a fried egg!
