Finally got around to frying the skin from the chicken thighs I made into fajitas for Christmas Eve. Fried in bacon grease until crisp, then liberally salted & peppered. YUM.
I got some horrified looks at our last Burns’ Night supper when instead of pudding I had a double Speyside malt drowned in a glass of double cream.
They didn’t know what they were missing…!
(Not long until this year’s Scotch shenanigans - bring it on!)
Day 2 of Carnivore I woke up and was hungry early. Before I knew it I was cooking and realized it was only 6:30, I don’t normally start eating till after 9:00 for a long time now. I might end up with three meals today.
Was a bit laid up dealing with a bad Head-Cold/Chest Congestion? So just chilled out and watched some television, etc. But haven’t been on-line in the past week or so…
Last Friday… OMAD - Turkey Leg/Wing/Thigh, Pepperoni, Cheese, Turkey Salad, Olives and Pickles.
Saturday… TMAD - Fried Eggs, Spam, Italian Sausage, Sausage patties, Bacon and Scrapple.
Sunday… TMAD - Some Slow-Cooked Chicken Gizzards in Butter - Fried Eggs, Bacon, Italian Sausage, Scrapple and Corn Beef Hash.
Monday… OMAD - Scrambled Eggs, Bacon, Corn Beef Hash, Sausage Patties and Italian Sausage.
Tuesday… TMAD - Pepperoni, Olives and Pickles. 2 Cheese Burgers with Bacon, 2 - 1/4lb. Hotdogs with Cheese and some Mushrooms.
Wednesday… TMAD - Fried Eggs, Corn Beef Hash, Sausage Patties, Ham and some Country Sausage and Gravy over Chaffle.
Wednesday OMAD:
2 x 8oz burgers w/ Swiss Cheese and a 10oz Ribeye Cap. There was also some hogshead cheese.

I’ve done really well today going back to my old eating habits…except for a snaccident with half a pack of pepperoni while I was making dinner!
Lunch today… 2 Cheese Burgers, Olives, Pepperoni, Cottage Cheese and Greek Yogurt. Also ate some Pecans and 2 Squares of Ghirardelli Intense Dark Chocolate.
Hi there, I am also a bit masochistic. When I fast, I often go to the cafeteria with my colleagues and watch them eat. But sometimes I prefer not to, because they keep apologizing for eating in front of me although I assure them that I am fine with it because I am determined, not to eat.
I have not learned enough about Keto yet (today is day one of my investigation), but today I had full fat Feta cheese with tiny bits of mushrooms and veggies in oil. The Feta I bought in Germany, and the rest is a product from the Slow Food Fair. Everything is organic.
LOL! Liver is growing on me - can’t say the same for kiddlies though…! Hope you enjoyed them!
My mouth is watering from looking at your asparagus - we have an asparagus farm just down the road, so we indulge and gorge ourselves every St George’s Day right through to midsummer! I save up for months beforehand in preparation…!
Having decided yesterday that I’d cut down on cheese and wine in an effort to lose the three excess Christmas pounds to bring me back down to my desired weight bracket I’ve just eaten about half a pound of the last of the Christmas Brie and Stilton washed down with far too much Malbec. #dontcare
Same here. Just a few minutes ago, I tripped over my own feet and found myself stumbling into and accidentally eating a whole bag of pepperoni slices and 16oz of Camembert.
I’m such a klutz I tell ya…
