Saturday OMAD:

Texas Roadhouse 16oz Ribeye and 2 x 8oz hamburger patties. I usually get the sidekick of ribs (no sauce) for $6.99, but I discovered you can get an 8oz burger patty for $4 … so for $1.01, I doubled my meat. And yes, the burgers were still about medium-rare, they just smashed them so they had a char on them.

Sunday OMAD:

3 x 8oz burger patties w/ cheese (yes, I ate one before the pic) and some Chicken Liver

Monday OMAD:

2 x 8oz burger patties and 8 oz Ribeye. I used the pictured cheese wraps (yellow circles) and made hamburger wraps.

Steak in a superhero mask…that will be my dinner once my husband gets back home, he’s the steak master in our family  I will kick it up a notch with some sliced veal liver… so we can call it steak in a superhero mask with a champion cape.

Molcajete
I save little bits and pieces from BBQ and sous vide and freeze them until I have enough for the molcajete. This round I used boneless thighs, pork belly, BBQ brisket burnt ends, chorizo, onions, charred poblano, tomato etc… Warm everything up on the flat top or grill and heat the molcajete up to 500 degrees. Assemble and add salsa verde for the gravy and top with pepper jack cheese. We served it with some Mexican caulirice, shredded lettuce and spicy sauces.
It stays hot for about an hour or so.

A very nice ending after an 85 degree day at the beach… Oh and a little tequila
