You British folk have too much fun! Im going to have to grab my passport and see what all these shenanigans are about!
What Did You Keto Today? The Trilogy!
Personally… i think living in Greece would be fun!
Dont want to do the dishes tonight? Just yell OPA!! and throw them on the floor!
Tube Steak Boogie
Hotdogs, Cheddar Links and Pepperoni with Mustard, Primal Spicy Ketchup and Cowboy Candy because I’m still eating vegetables till the end of the year!
Lovely morning cuddles from my little one and a nice big coffee with cream and collagen to fuel my Xmas shopping trip to canterbury this morning!!
Last night’s dinner I forgot to post…
Son wanted a Pizza Chaffle, but only got a pic before putting in oven…
Wife wanted some Chaffles with Sausage Gravy, so I joined her with hers…
Then I made my absolute Favorite, Deviled Dungeness Crab Cakes. Made one for each of us…
David, That’s a nice setup! I would have a hard time walking past the table. Do you have a steam attachment or handheld frother?
Bit of a random lunch today…no pic…but I did stop at M&S cafe to have a coffee with cream, I got some little packets of cheese, bacon and a couple of boiled eggs, got chatting to a couple of girls who were out shopping who threw some rum in my coffee!!! made battling the crowds much more tolerable!
Have fun shopping, Clare =). I did not know that they have Timmie’s (Tim Horton’s) in England??? Or, is that cup from when you were living here?
Hehe, did you know the girls that gave you the rum? It would certainly make shopping more bearable! If money wasn’t a factor, then shopping would be fun, but I personally find it so stressful. I loved it when online shopping came along =).
My good friend sent me this mug a couple of years ago, along with honey cruellers that didn’t survive the journey
No I didn’t know the girls, we just happened to share a table as it was so busy and we got chatting
You sure do get a classy type if shopper in Canterbury!
I’m going to see Fleabag at the local theatre tonight. Just having a little pre performance snack!
Little bit of everything…baked me some “6 hours @ 130” beef chuck, dinner for the next few days, sauerkraut, red cabbage, mixed salad and eggs.
I thought perhaps you had brought it back to England with you from living here or visiting here. It is kind of funny that she mailed the cruellers, hehe.
That was nice that they shared their rum with you =).
No joke of a lie Jackie she just whipped this giant bottle of Captain Morgan out of her handbag and filled up my coffee cup like it was nothing! absolutely hilarious!
Enjoy your evening!
That reminds me of me at our concerts when I have been feeling the effects of a few drinks, and have whipped out my sparkles to put more on, and the one night the lady beside me asked for some, and we passed it around the table, hehe. It is funny how one’s inhibitions totally melt with a few drinks =). I am sure that those girls had a great time shopping. I would be afraid of having too much when shopping and spending too much, haha, but it would make shopping more fun for sure.
Yep, the Saturday plate… Though I was thinking of just doing Gizzards, Hearts and Liver… But I’ll just do that tomorrow. Wife was already making the food when I got back from grocery shopping.
Bacon, Eggs, Sausage and Scrapple. Also an Almond Milk and a handful of Peanuts and Chocolate.
Wife also said she busted one of her eggs, which fell onto my plate. So I guess I got a little extra yolk with mine today. … She was explaining the extra yolk on my egg in the front.
@Jamboribs The Gaggia machine I bought has a professional grade dual port steam wand and a full sized 58mm brass group head. The portafilter weighs about a pound, made from plated brass. I just got the grinder two days ago and the espresso machine a couple of days before. I went through about 2 lbs of coffee beans during the first few days dialing in grind, dose and shot timing, and four different beans I had trying to find a good result. Being a person who hates to waste stuff I drank way too many Doppios. To say the least I’ve been a little over caffeinated this week! I made a lot of espresso getting that done. You can’t dial in results just making a couple of shots per day, you have to spend a solid block of time working with it.
When these beans I have but am not totally satisfied with are gone I have to find a good local roast. Things have changed in the espresso world since my first cup 40 years ago when I fell in love with the stuff. Espresso beans used to mean the darkest roast and there was a bitter edge. Generally espresso roasts are getting lighter now and I find the lighter roast espresso beans sour and acidic instead of bitter. There’s lots of talk about brightness but it was the darkness that sucked me in originally. The extremely dark roast of Starbucks espresso beans taste burnt in my new machine and it’s not what they use in their stores for service. It’s okay in an Americano though. And I made a couple of outrageously good mochas the last couple of days with it. But the quest for the perfect bean must go on, proper equipment is just the start…
The holiday season brings out the best in us…sharing, celebrating, joy, random day-drinking…
