What Did You Keto Today? The Trilogy!

(Eric - The patient needs to be patient!) #6699

Others have asked the same. I’m in the process of writing up a web page and will share. Not sure how long it will be before it is ready. I’m got so many things going on now, all good, in my life.

No rush and thanks!

Look what Montezuma’s are doing for Christmas!!!

(traci simpson) #6702

Surf and turf with a little manchego cheese.

(traci simpson) #6703

Wow, that looks amazing.

Our sausage-cravings are in full swing
We went to our butcher, got some pečenica, smoked sausage and a beer sausage + sauerkraut with our ocvirki (the fatty pork rinds) -> typical slovenian fall food

I think cast iron and pork chops are best friends, yum!

(Rebecca 🌸 Frankenfluffy) #6706

Ooooooooooh! Those look tempting! :eyes:

Bunged some half-price pork shoulder chunks and some nduja in the slow cooker this morning. Just had a taste - it is KAPOW :boom: but delicious! Have put some peppers in for the last hour, and I’m going to do some cauliflower rice with it.

Drove past the Bent Arms on my way to a job today, @CrackerJax!

(Full Metal KETO AF) #6707

@KetoSnaps I’ve wanted to try nduja for some time now, not commonly available here. I’ve read it’s spreadable. :cowboy_hat_face:

Chaffle Disaster No. 2

After the last time I thoroughly cleaned and greased my iron with bacon grease.
:face_with_raised_eyebrow:

I dug them out and ate them anyway, still delicious! Sausage an Sunny Side Ups to accompany.

And now the clean up fun begins again… :cowboy_hat_face:

(Rebecca 🌸 Frankenfluffy) #6709

Until this week I’d heard of it but never tried it! But yes, it’s spreadable.

On reflection half of this would have done the job fine with the 500g pork shoulder I put it with - but having said that, it wasn’t too too hot, and the flavour was amazing!

('Jackie P') #6710

I sent my last one back! Stuck all the time, but now with @KetoSnaps tip of whisking butter into the mix - no problem. I use a little lard instead sometimes, or even a sundried tomato in olive oil. Works well, but once my chaffle machine started sticking I couldn’t rescue it

@ClareBear, I so cant get on with the 100%! Why cant they at least put a whole nut in or something.

I am going to wave at everyone now, just incase it’s Rebecca :joy::joy:

I’ve gotten Italian Hot Sausage links Calabrese style, Calabrian peppers have an amazing flavor. Those sausages had anise seed instead of the usual fennel. Now I wonder if I can still get them, I haven’t had them in quite a while! :cowboy_hat_face:

(Rebecca 🌸 Frankenfluffy) #6712

:female_detective:

:rofl::rofl::rofl:

Another crazy day at work! I kinda like the pace :slightly_smiling_face:. I wanted to skip lunch but they said it was illegal :no_mouth:. So before they called the police I had

A cheese and butter chaffwich!
When I got home I had some chicken Korma that I found in the freezer.

If I wasn’t so modest I would say I make a fabulous curry :yum:

Broke a 76-hour fast this afternoon. After an hour or so, i had a few bites of this Reuben Casserole. It’s just sauerkraut topped with corned beef topped with homemade Russian dressing, baked at 400 for 20 minutes, topped with Swiss cheese and baked for another 10.

Today’s OMAD… Two Swiss Burgers, Cheese, Hard Salami and Pepperoni

Wasn’t actually planning on eating today, but ended up doing OMAD after a cold day in the woods. - Was up at 4:30am, but with temps just above 30° and winds 15+, gusty and steady, it got quite cold indeed. … Came back home some hours later and actually was cold to the core, and couldn’t seem to get but so warmed up. So wrapped up in a blanket and actually fell asleep for a while, only to wake too late to hunt the evening. … When I woke, the Wife made me some Coffee and this meal to see if it would help.

(Jody) #6717

Thursday OMAD:

1lb lean ground beef (91/9 …some old stuff I was trying to finish) w/ butter, 6x eggs w/ Mozzarella cheese, beef liver

Bone broth for me, bone for Tara (I like to give her osso bucco bones, she licks the bone marrow and then plays with the bone…thigh bones are demolished, the animal that she is, ends up eating chunks of bones and I step into throw-up first thing in the morning - no more thigh bones)
