I made beef stew. 4 lbs stew meat with leeks, zucchini, mushrooms and a bit of parsnip. Cooked it on low for 8 hrs. I drained the liquid from the slow cooker into another pot, put some xanthan gum in a little bowl and mixed it with avocado oil and then blended it in with a stick blender. Then I added the rest of the stew into the 2nd pot. I am so very proud of myself, it ended up being a perfect gravy. I just finished at 1130 at night so I have to wait till tomorrow for my grandson to try it.

Same here!! That little pot has sat in my cupboard for well over a year (since I started making keto bread!) I noticed I only had about half a teaspoon left so I started to get a little panicky! I did consider using my Amazon Prime to deliver it next day, and then felt bad about having a van deliver me baking powder!
Going to try not to confuse main course with pudding at lunchtime!

Asked the Wife to make me something for today at work… Bacon, Scrambled Eggs with Cheese and Pepperoni and a couple Pickled Sausages. Also an Almond Milk and a can of Smoked Vienna’s.
Dinner Thursday night …
1lb ground beef w/ cheese (no egg yolks though). Yes, that is the rendered fat and it’s a lot, but that is deceptive as it all floated up and that is a small bowl.
The butcher asked what I was doing with all this meat (I have bought 12lbs (of 70/30) this week since moving to TMAD. I had to explain carnivore … lol
@ClareBear I was wondering about the absence of the chocolate, I thought you might have quit. I don’t see any with hemp seeds?

I have Steven again till tonight, his mom went sailing with friends. Steven is eating and saying “good” every 30 seconds or so!
It’s always there lurking in the background! I’m admit, I did try to quit it but I failed miserably!
I’ve been used to the Lindt 90% lately so I bet this might take some getting used to again!
Friday Lunch:

Since going TMAD for a while, I will likely drop the cheese as that is really pushing the calories up. I will probably just have egg yolks on the meat from here on out.
OK here is my dinner. Salmon vegetables a bit of potato, and I won’t mention a dessert. I went to a play house with dinner, Mamma Mia musical. I went to it with my daughter, and my dinner was not keto, but delicious all the same. I’m noticing that my weight is staying spot on. I neither go up and weight or down and weight. It would be nice to be a little lighter weight but clearly I don’t have the focus to stay strong with keto. I’m eating lazy keto, with too many vegetables.
The only thing that could make my lau lau better than it already is, is a hearty dose of Hawaiian chili pepper water and a couple of over easy eggs. Along with an avocado, it’s all about the right energy for a one meal kind of day.
I am only shocked that you can eat it almost daily and never get sick of it. Haha.
I didn’t fast as planned today, made chicken salad with shredded chicken, Asian salad mix, avocado mayo & black pepper.
Had some nice Seafood tonight… Dungeness Crab and some nice Haddock. Then some Ghirardelli Intense Dark Chocolate, Pecans and an Almond Milk.
