Today’s lunch, can you spot the green stuff?
Bacon & parmesan salad with lashings of dressing, still full 9 hours later.
Today’s lunch, can you spot the green stuff?
Easy sheet pan dinner: hot italian sausage, sliced onions and mini bell peppers. Very tasty. Already excited about having leftovers for lunch tomorrow.
Dinner. Ribeye, cauliflower mash, lemon garlic eggplant purée, asparagus with goat cheese and toasted almonds, arugula salad with Dijon lemon dressing, and a few berries with heavy whipping cream
@Wahinewanders Does the taro leaf contribute a significant flavor? Do you eat it? Is it just seasoned with salt?
@David_Stilley- yeah, you eat the taro leaf and yes, it contributes to the flavor significantly. The ti leaf (outermost wrapper) also contributes to the flavor but is discarded. The meat is seasoned only with Hawaiian sea salt. Most traditional lau lau also contains a small cube of black cod (butter fish) for flavor, but it’s expensive and I don’t like it so I didn’t bother.
At this Opera house at Glyndebourne it is set up for indoor picnics in the winter, big sturdy tables and benches. But no food and drink in the actual theatre. In the summer people picnic outside.
It was brilliant! I usually shun the more frivolous operas, but it was such a great production. Mmm … I will be interested to hear what you make of the artistic direction of Rigoletto!
Wow, that is brilliant =). I am glad that you enjoyed your show and had such a wonderful time =).
Monday OMAD:
1lb** ground beef w/ cheese and 4 x raw egg yolks.
** I did end up eating about 1/2 lb raw as well (not pictured)
Still out here on the road doing keto as clean as we can. Today is a brekky day, waiting for our next load in NE PA. Over-medium eggs, ham, two kinds of sausage (the bacon was too crisp to sop up my yolks, so I skipped it. ), plus coffee with heavy cream & cocoa. I will follow up with a small salad since it comes with the breakfast buffet.
I was making a bacon and brie chaffwich for work tomorrow, and it looked so good I ate it!
