What Did You Keto Today? The Trilogy!
Had a meal earlier of Bacon, Eggs, Sausage and Scrapple.
Meal tonight was… Olives, Pickles, Creamy Venison from last night, plus a couple Burgers with Bacon, Sour Cream and Scallions, Country Sausage, Ham wrapped Egg-Salad, Fried Radishes and Cheese.
Your post the other day inspired me to buy horseradish to try. Do you just plop it on there or do you mix it with something? I kind of already ate my rib eye for breakfast but will buy another (or five) so I can try it.
@scoakley13 Just plop it on there, or mix with a little mayo if you like it milder. It’s potent. You just need a dab with a bite.
Had dinner party for 10 this evening. Ended up making Thomas Keller’s Tarragon Chicken…which, I must say, is amazing. Baby lettuces in the salad. So many varied diets and likes/dislikes - I settled on rice pilaf, carrots. Some people wanted rolls, so I obliged.
Pumpkin pie for dessert. Lo carb one,and a regular one. I was completely happy and satisfied just eating the chicken.
Thanks! My grandfather used to eat it all the time. When I was about 8 or 9 I opened the jar and stuck my nose in it. I haven’t touched it since but am anxious to try it.
Since I used both almond flour and oat flour, they are a lot stiffer. And the browning is much better than with just my egg and mozzarella
How much almond flour did you use? I have some mozzarella to use up so I might try this tonight!
Sort of a Left-Over Lunch today… 1-1/2 Cheese Burgers, Scrapple, Sausage Patties, Cheese, Ham, Country Sausage, Hard Salami, Pepperoni, Cottage Cheese, Greek Yogurt and some Pecans. Also had some Almond Milk and Tea and 2 Squares of Lindt’s Dark Chocolate.
