Thanks, Clare, and I am guessing once Gabriella starts school next fall, I will be back to colds a lot like I was when my kids were little too… but I do think Keto gets us sick less often and for me I like to get the flu shot, it seems to help me personally, I think because of my asthma too.

I think its viral, my toddler comes home with all sorts of nasties! Sometimes I catch them, some times I don’t…this one has been the worst yet!

Oooh kids I babysat my friend’s kid one winter, he had the sniffles, I ended up with a streptococcal angina like I was back in lower school, followed by an ear infection that took about two months to sort out. The kids make it out ok, we end up half-dead

I’m shocked restaurants and food manufacturers aren’t paying attention to the keto trend. Stores have been selling out of keto items all the way back to Trader Joe’s introduction of bagged riced cauliflower. YEARS ago. The stores couldn’t keep Halo Top in stock either. There were reports of people fighting over it in the stores.

I agree! Although I have seen a few places implement keto options. El Pollo Loco has a Keto bowl, Chipotle had one too- not sure if they still do, and BJ’s Pizza has a zoodle bowl that’s aimed at the low carb market. It sure would be nice to see a bigger selection of keto items at my local grocery store though. The items they do stock are usually wiped out, even olives!

I chicken chimichurri (frozen, pre-cooked, from Sam’s Club) chaffle sandwich. Later, chocolate chaffles drizzled with cream and NuNaturals cocoa syrup.

Cheese burgers and courgettes for dinner tonight

I was making a chicken enchilada casserole for a gals family. She’s laid up in the hospital. It has lots of cheese and cream soups and chicken and rotelle tomatoes and flour tortillas. Since I was using fiesta style grated cheese I made a chaffle for me. I will say that it was a little weird with the maple pecan choc zero syrup. I think I’ll stick with mozzarella. No picture, it’s in my tummy
