What Did You Keto Today? The Trilogy!

('Jackie P') #4706

Did a 10 hour day shift! Ate egg mayonnaise and brazil nuts. Came home and made the easiest ever cauliflower cheese

Steamed cauliflower with a halved whole camembert. The crust is good too. I did think about bacon but I couldn’t be a@#$ed😶

Got another 10 hour shift tomorrow, but I’m loving it!

Lunch from a few hours ago. Just had to run out afterwards and didn’t get to post… Some Sardines in Mustard, Smoked Vienna’s, Spam and some Almonds. Plus an Iced Tea.

I’m a basic _ this morning. That’s not a bad thing. Also my little waffle iron is coming today so I’m saving up my creativity for a Rueben sandwich on Caraway chaffles.

Eat the whole SPAM block? It’s easy to do. lol

Hope you feel better soon, @Marlitharn!

I made my second batch of keto rolls this evening. This time I beat the mix really well (using the decent beaters rather than the whisk attachment I used the first time).

Last week:

This week:

Tomorrow’s lunches. Mr S has cheese and mayo, no butter on his roll, and I’ve got my favourite egg mayo and butter on mine.

I’ve split the remaining four and bunged them in the freezer.

They look, feel and smell amazing! Really chuffed with them.

#4711

Those look fantastic. Do you have a recipe or a link to one?

(Rebecca 🌸 Frankenfluffy) #4712

Ooops, yes, here you go!

I felt the recipe sounded crazy - egg whites plus stuff I’d never heard of - but I’m so so glad I tried it!

Frankly I didn’t even want to like these rolls last week - I only made them for Mr S - but I’ve been really pleasantly surprised!

Your eggs look LOVELY!

(Liz) #4714

No picture as got carried away by the sheer beauty of a very low slow cooked Aberdeen Angus short rib following @Ilana_Rose method.
Never tasted beef quite so moist and meltingly fatty. Cooked two as they looked small, could only eat one, so filling
Will try and take a pic tomorrow.

(Tyler) #4715

Turkey mozzarella meat balls with green beans. I made some Keto French onion dip that I’m gonna have with the meatballs

(Brandy) #4716

Hey thanks!

(April Harkness) #4717

Doing twomad instead of omad today. Here is pic of meal #1. My “12 noon” dirty carnivore breakfast of burger sandwich with ham, egg and cheese in the middle, a side of bratwurst sausage . Not pictured are homemade porkrinds i got at a local filipino store aka chicaronnes.

#4718

Yep, I sure did. Plus, I was at work and had nothing there to store any left-overs in. But I had plans to eat it all anyway before running out to look at a site.

(traci simpson) #4719

Tonight I had a ribeye bacon and fried kale.

#4720

They look real nice. I’ve planned to try making some myself for quite some time, probably the past year or so, but just haven’t yet. … But I was never really big on breads before switching over to this WOE/WOL, but something about those guys always look good. :+1:

#4721

Lunch at a BBQ place and leftovers for dinner. No barbecue sauce, instead asked for au jus.
Beef brisket, smoked hot sausage links, and collard greens.

Sous vide steak seared with a heat gun for dinner. Yum!

(Brennan) #4724

Sous vide ginger duck leg confit with sauteed okra!

Here’s what’s going on.

My Dash waffle iron was delivered today so I made those caraway chaffles that @carl posted on the 2 Keto blog: https://blog.2keto.com/recipe/the-best-damn-cheeseburger-ive-ever-tasted/

I made some homemade thousand island with some Primal Kitchen ketchup, my own sweet relish recipe and some other stuff.

I heated a third pound of corned beef, an ounce of Jarlsberg and a half cup of sauerkraut (which isn’t homemade @David_Stilley, but it is a live one!).

And then I had this Rueben. And I’m telling you, I have never had a better Rueben anywhere.
