I love a wee dram😋!
Staying at mums
Just some tomato and gouda slices!
Takeout from a local pizza joint. Taco salad I ask them from no tortilla shell or tomatoes since I ask for salsa and double meat!
Not rude, it just looks like it’s sitting on the corner of a table. Kind of a square angle. I wouldn’t be rude to you…All right I had better shut up before I dig a deeper hole!
I had a full dinner planned with asparagus and side salad to go with my roasted pork butt but never made it past the pork. After I let it rest for a few minutes, I started pulling it apart and stood there, at my kitchen counter for 10 minutes, eating all the crusty fatty outsides and whatever pork was attached to it.
That looks very nice. I have no clue what this Old Bay everyone is talking about, but I guess it is a spice only available in the states.
It’s a blend of spices that’s really good with seafood and many other things.
I’ve purchased it at Walmart and ordered it from Amazon.
Edit: here’s a homemade copycat recipe for Old Bay Seasoning.
Ha! You beat me to it @DiMo.
Back in the 60’s or so Old Bay listed the spices on the label. I found a copycat recipe for the original, I doubt they include stuff like mace anymore, second most expensive spice in the world after saffron I believe.
The smell brings back wonderful memories of eating crab at the Ocean City, Maryland shore every summer. Covered the crabs, my hands, my face and bib. And there’s nothing else like it IMO.
Okay, thanks @DiMo, @David_Stilley and @TimeForMe
I have never heard of it before the forum, I will look at Walmart but I think it is am American only product? I can check on our Amazon too though. Some things on American Amazon are double the price on ours… annoying!
But–does this Old Bay have any carbs??
My picture does NOT do this burger justice. I can never give up my day job to be a food photographer. Nonetheless, one of THE best, if not THE BEST burger I have ever eaten was at Small Cheval, yesterday afternoon. Don’t believe me? I have a link to a review of Au Cheval (the bigger location of Small Cheval) below. It was a lettuce wrap for me! A keto low carbers dream burger! Usually i have to order two bunless burgers at most places to be full. But not at Small Cheval! The burger is already a double burger and the patties are HUGE!!! Cold brewed Sawada Coffee to finish my meal. And oh my word. The coffee has rich undertones of chocolate. I had to keep looking at the ingredient list bc i could not believe how chocolaty it tasted! I can get my chocolate fix via this coffee. 0 cals, 0 carbs. Only the best iced coffee i have ever tasted! I just wish i could find it more places. So another reason to visit Small Cheval again besides the most wonderful burger to ever grace my lips! Low carbers rejoice!
