Lol, my dinner was on a banquet serving platter😂
What Did You Keto Today? The Trilogy!
I like these products quite a bit and keep them in my freezer for those times when I just have to have bread. That keeps the cost in check and I find that I rarely want bread alternatives anyway. I’m typically just fine without. But once in a great while…
Today’s snacks (I break it in half, into AM and PM snacks)
My Fitness Pal app says all of this is 3% Carbs, 72% Fat and 25% Protein
I use a drizzle/dip of Italian dressing to give it a NY Deli essence…
Lunch
One of those keto buns with ham cheese lettuce and a thin slice of tomato mayonnaise and mustard
FYI:
McDonalds (here in SoCal) has two egg McMuffin sandwiches for $4.
You can ask them to put the cheese between the egg and the sausage patty, so it doesn’t all stick to the muffin.
I feed the muffin to the birds and eat the good stuff…
We’re having a going-away tea party tomorrow for a co-worker. I made clotted cream and I’m going to make traditional scones, but I also wanted something to eat so I made keto orange walnut scones with a cream cheese almond glaze. They may not make it until tomorrow.
Oh nice, I bet they are delicious. I haven’t done any Keto baking -only Keto things I have made are fat bombs (I make them with no sweeteners as well, and Keto Pizza once so far). Baking was never something I have been into, my vice was more chips and/or candy pre-Keto.
Chicken bone broth with some veg, butter and Monterey Jack.
Deviled eggs. Steamed 13 minutes with a 10 minute ice bath for super easy peel.
How was the bun? I’ve seen a few around, as well as some low-carb wraps. Not sure they would pass the taste test.
Bacon-bandaged Scotch eggs with yummy green sauce made from a blended hard boiled egg, dill, coriander leaves and mayo, with some homebrewed sauerkraut-riddled salad dressed with ACV, plus some supermarket coleslaw (shhhh).
Seared Ahi
Dressed with Soy Ginger and Sesame Oil
Not quite a meal, Steven is coming today so I will eat again later.
Had the butcher take some ribeye steak and slice it really thin. I sautéed that in butter with salt and pepper. Caramelized some onions with jalapeños and made Keto cheese sauce. This is delicious!!!
Quick lunch between meetings. Leftover stirfry for dinner. And a nice big fatty iced coffee for fun.
