Thank you!
What Did You Keto Today? The Trilogy!
It could be having not had those allergins for a while that now you can have some periodically. You are clearly too small for that steak. Wow! Keto is so strange.
Awesome, I can’t wait to try them. I like to keep quick heat-up things around for when I don’t have time to cook a real meal
Bacon Alert!
For those of you in Ontario this Leadbetters bacon is about the best commercial bacon you can get here. It’s double smoked with great flavour. It’s on sale at Foodland for $4.99 (reg $7.99)
No carbs and no sugar!
I got some of the enchiladas when I first started out. They were ok. Convenient at the time when I was used to Lean Cuisines and had to transition to planning and bringing lunches to work every day. But pricey. I haven’t seen the chicken crust pizza. Let us know what you think.
They are pizzas with a chicken crust, so low carb. They’re very tasty, but no matter how hard I tried I couldn’t get the crust crispy. But, I’m content with microwaving them for 4 minutes and they’re still delicious. Whole pizza (about 8" or so) is only 8g carbs. I haven’t tried the enchiladas because they’re a little small for the price IMO.
@beccs I LOVE those RealGoods. Ive had the Pizza ones and theyre really.tasty and probably not what you expect, but they’re good. They suggest to leave the cardboard on during cooking, but my tip is don’t listen, and remove it. My ShopRite stopped carryingn them for some unknown reason, but good to know Wegmans has them.
Thanks for the tip I’ll trust your word and do what you said
random but speaking of ShopRite - does yours carry rebel ice cream? I usually shop at wegmans but surprisingly wegmans doesn’t sell it. I’ve been dying to try it and I have a ShopRite not too far from me.
ETA - I’m sure it’ll be better than the quest pizza. The crust tasted like cardboard
Yes! They literally just started carrying it last month. I kept looking for it l, until one day it just manifested. My ShopRite is one of the “World Class” ones (whatever that means), and they seem to be carrying it now. Get it while you can, because ShopRite is notorious for random item cuts out of the blue, like the Realgoods. shakes fist
Thanks, I’ll definitely make a stop at my closest one so wish me luck!
Have the day off today, decided to meet the gf for lunch. Cheesesteak w no bread, mushrooms, green peppers, provolone, mayo and mustard
That looks awesome, @beccs. I haven’t seen any of these Realgood products in Canada =(. I wish we would have more of the Keto products here as well. American Costco’s have tons of things that we don’t have in Canada! I still love my Costco (all the staff is amazing and they all love seeing my now 3 year old grand daughter that they have been seeing weekly since she was a tiny baby) and they certainly know how frustrated I am that they don’t have all these cool things you lovely people post that you buy there!
Does your gf do Keto too? She must be very proud of you with your progress =)).
We do not have Rebel icecream here in Ontario either! I emailed the company though and told them that Canadians would love it, that there are a lot of Canadian Ketoers! They sent me back a very polite email but telling me there were none in my area yet… so fingers crossed for the future!
She is proud, thanks @Momof5! And she doesn’t do Keto yet, she does the dreaded CICO thing but she said when I move in with her next summer she’s willing to give it a shot since I’ll cook everything she has lost about 50 lbs doing CICO though and I’m proud of her! She also goes to the gym, something I need to do more consistently. I’d like her to do Keto to prevent a family history of Alzheimer’s. Need to read up more on the science behind that
Shame that Canada doesn’t have as many Keto products!
My Wegmans doesn’t either, but I requested it. They have so many ice creams, I am not holding my breath. I saw that Enlightened just released new “keto” ice creams. I hope that doesn’t hurt Rebel.
That is excellent, @beccs. The two of you can inspire and motivate each other for Keto and for gym workouts and work as a team for both. That is really terrific when couples are both doing it. My hubby has been eating the Keto suppers I have been making him and he still has lost almost 20 pounds… aggravating since he isn’t really trying.
At least he is getting more Keto curious, hehe.
Frustrating how quickly men seem to lose weight but at least he’s showing interest, that’s awesome!
