What Did You Keto Today? The Trilogy!

(Mame) #7581

I have for sure. My family has been known for being able to put a lot away…now I am the cheapest date. One free pour beverage and “my nose gets numb” from one!

I guess becoming a lightweight (medium-weight) made me a lightweight

also great new pic!!

I am having success with allulose…perhaps too much success! cheesecake and pecan pie for this xmas eve

(Ashley) #7582

What’s your chaffle recipe? As yours always looks not as soft as mine, I want something that holds up better!

('Jackie P') #7583

It’s actually @KetoSnaps recipe that I have found the best. I use 3 medium eggs, a handful of grated mozzarella/cheddar mix, a tsp butter, lard or bacon fat, salt and pepper and a level tsp baking powder. Blend with a stick blender- makes 4.
I am hoping they will last over the holiday for cheese etc. I often put them in the microwave for 10 secs or so.

(Jane) #7584

Leftover fried cabbage, roast and frozen tomatoes from my garden, cowpeas from my garden.

Almond flour cornbread with corn extract.

(Ashley) #7585

Thank you I will have to try it out

Cheese Cakes are a very Creamy, Rich and Delicious Cake, made primarily of Cream Cheese and Eggs, along with a Sweetener, Sour Cream (or Heavy Whipping Cream) and with a Crumb Type Crust. … Note, this is the regular version I’ve been making for many years, (w/ Sugar) but I have made a more Keto-Friendly version, if you’re interested I’ll post the link below? Most folks usually order the Cherry Topping one, but I actually make a bunch of different types. Here’s a pic of the last one I just finished…

Here’s the link to the thread I have on Cheese Cakes, that pretty much walks through the process. If you like Cream Cheese, you might just loves these.:+1:

Damn, forgot to post my meal… Couple Burgers with Cheese, Pepperoni and Mushrooms. Also an Almond Milk, Tea, Chocolate (2 squares).

(Lazy, Dirty Keto 😝) #7588

Just saw your cheesecake thread and wow

#7589

Thanks… The more Keto-Friendly version usually runs around 50 carbs for the whole cake, depending on what all is used. But like so many other things, it still should be eating in moderation. If you read through the thread, you will see that some learned that first hand. They are quite good, but I don’t eat them on the regular basis for just this reason. You can also freeze them as well, and they work pretty good as Ice Cream or Cake, depending on how long you thaw them before eating. :+1:

Quite a few folks on here have made some nice ones as well…

Sunday OMAD:

2x 8oz 70/30 burgers w/ Swiss and American cheese and about 8oz of Ribeye. You can also see my trusty Sour Cream

There was also a slice of Hoghead cheese eaten off camera.

#7591

Wow, that looks delicious! I’m reading the cheesecake thread on my train ride to work
A keto-friendly version would be great, maybe that’s what I should make for x-mas, my husband loves cheesecake

#7592

I will have to order some from either German or UK Amazon and try… we still don’t have monkfruit or allulose sweeteners in our stores.

(Rebecca 🌸 Frankenfluffy) #7593

They freeze pretty well, I find!

('Jackie P') #7594

:hugs::hugs::hugs: a thing of beauty to behold!

Thank you I will do that😊
I’m sitting at Mums having a cup of tea before going to Sainsbury’s for the 7am opening!
Going to do the whole Christmas shop and be home in time to take Mum her morning tea!
It’s the only way to do it I find!:innocent:

#7595

Made some raspberry, Rebecca inspired, mousse :yum:
For lunch I had meatloaf with cabbage and cauliflower with beef stock and cream cheese gravy.

Mmmm… tasted better than it looked😋

24oz Ribeye :cut_of_meat:

Gotta love that managers special bin when you find a giant ribeye :cut_of_meat: for half price! I went to buy a whole rib roast, they were on sale for $5.99 lb. I didn’t realize they average 20+ lbs. I didn’t have $150+ to drop on a roast so I got this for $13. :cowboy_hat_face:

Monday OMAD:

2 x 8oz (70/30) burger patties w/ Swiss and American Cheese (see the yellow peeking out of the holes on the Swiss … lol) and a 9oz Piece of Ribeye. There was also a slice of Hoghead cheese eaten off camera.
