What did you Keto today? Part Deux!

(Mike W.) #1527

Sausages made with a rotten meat?

(Alex ) #1528

i hope not! High meat, as in meat predominant content ingredients - not rusk/fillers/grain whatever…

(Mike W.) #1529

OH! I thought you were talking about the “high meat” from the another post. Apparently eating it is a thing

(Alex ) #1530

yeah I saw that one too! Havent tried high meat of that nature, think I’d puke !

(Mike W.) #1531

No kidding. Sounds awful

(Cathy) #1532

Hot dogs are a great way to get your offals in!

(Heather Meyer) #1533

what is a “high meat”?

(Heather Meyer) #1534

what is offal?

(Alex ) #1535

as in “high in meat” high content of meat within each sausage, think these ones are like 70% turkey, so the carbs and calories are quite reasonable.

It’s a phrase I coined from an old diet I used to do.

(Heather Meyer) #1536

ahhhhh

(Cathy) #1537

Offal is organ meat such as liver, kidney, heart etc.

(Deborah ) #1538

My feelings exactly. I don’t know that I want to have to think/plan that far in advance. My younger son swears by his (both my sons and their wives are keto - yay!), so I can foresee myself getting one sometime in the future. Not at the top of my list atm, though.

Cooking a 12 pound turkey early so that we have leftovers. My husband is barbecuing the two other turkeys on Thursday but we have 20 people and people like leftovers. So here’s my lunch today.

(Candy Lind) #1540

… just to brag about yours? :smiling_imp::rofl:

(Candy Lind) #1541

Looks like it belongs in a haunted house!
:rofl::rofl::rofl:

I can tell you at a handful of things wrong with every image I post, trust me

One of those occasional 2nd meals… Eggs, bacon, Sausage links and a left-over Hot Smoked Sausage.

(Candy Lind) #1544

Making highly-anticipated “cornbread” dressing from Highfalutin’ Low Carb on YouTube. This “cornbread” is awesome. I added a little baby corn to it (thanks @Fiorella for turning me on to their use). It’s a bit tender, so I may reduce the amount of broth when I assemble the dressing. Thanks @JustPeachy for link to this recipe! I can’t wait for hubby to get home & try this!!

(Pan Dulce) #1545

I ate lunch too fast to take a picture (I’m not sure if a picture is required for posting in this thread, so I’ll do it anyway!) :frowning:
A couple ounces of goat cheese, 2 strips of thick-sliced bacon, and a handful of pecans, and I am ready for the rest of the day!

(Running from stupidity) #1546

Errr, and me, right? I get to come over and try that?
