What did you Keto today? Part Deux!

(Running from stupidity) #1266

Speaking of, I’m really not sure why there’s so little bacon there. It’s weird indeed, given I packed them into portions before freezing. Just need bigger portions, I guess. #ideasman

Are you sure you’re not sampling the product before you take the shot? That’s more than likely what I’d do!

(Running from stupidity) #1268

Nah, the shooting only takes 30 seconds or so if you’re already setup ready to do it. Drop the plate down, take a shot or two, switch lenses, another couple of shots, sorted.

Oh, forget I said anything, then. I had no idea it was so simple.

I used to do photos for money. Like an awful lot of things, preparation makes the execution much easier and therefore better

(Karen) #1271

Burp! I beg your pardon!

(Karen) #1273

That looks delicious!! I haven’t used 5 spice in ages.

It’s pretty pungent @Keto6468 but a tiny amount gives you that authentic vibe I think.

(Alex ) #1275

Need to find a way not to look at this thread when I have no meal due for another 10 hours or so!

(Joanna Parszyk ) #1276

@MiKetoAF
The beef on your picture is the most alluring and seductive piece of meat l’ve seen in a long time…

(Janelle) #1277

We had the day off and our one meal was a trip to the Brazilian steakhouse Fogo de Chao. If you’ve never been there, just suffice it to say that it’s a meat lover’s paradise and is also known as “F**kload of Chow”. I stayed keto at their “market table” and refused the carby sides. We’re gonna have to make this a quarterly thing.

When you need a crunchy coleslaw, you need it. So here it is. Just enough red capsicum to give it a little bite, with a creamy dressing. And a 350g 24-hour rump steak to give you a good protein hit. #perfect

The coleslaw needs some work (maybe a little lime juice, I dunno, prob give it a shot), but it was really nice.

My wife: “I can’t believe I’m full after this. Actually I can’t finish it.” (Her steak would have been 230 or so, I think.)

(Cathy) #1279

I made these ‘raincoast’ crackers this weekend and thought they were pretty good. Sturdy enough to spread things on and tasty.

(Doug) #1280

That profound satisfaction that protein and fat can bring. Sometimes it just bowls me over.

(Ellen) #1281

Sometimes you really do just need a bit of crunchy coleslaw.

(Running from stupidity) #1282

Yep, exactly right. And with summer approaching (last couple of days have been 30C) it’s time to get the coleslaw going again.

(Ashley) #1283

Summer lol! -1c here for me and snow!

(Joanna Parszyk ) #1284

Home made fat head pizza :pizza: pulled chicken, creamed spinach with caramelized red onions plus some more accidental veggies  and a generous amount of cheddar :cheese:

#1285

I tend to look at the pictures only on this string and I was momentarily concerned you were going to eat those dogs. :joy:
