What did you Keto today? Part Deux!

(Allie) #7823

I had planned a fasting day today but just wasn’t feeling like it when I got up, so eggs, homemade yoghurt, and a fatty coffee it was.

#7824

650g Bone in ribeye, roasted artichokes, rosemary & garlic hollandaise sauce and chilli & lime prawns

(Clare) #7825

Lunch today was a nice big bit of salmon, olives, avocado, prosciutto and mayo…

…followed by a cuppa tea and some chocolate! (Obviously!)

(Jody) #7826

I totally understand that.

I would be a perfect replacement for Andrew Zimmern as I love to try different and “weird” things. My thought is, I didn’t know I liked Bacon until I tried it … so how do I know that XXX isn’t really good?

(Jody) #7827

I do too. I also like duck, so I bought a whole duck and will cook that up on the grill later this week. This is the start of my <2nd round> of Carnivore so I will need the meats!

(Karen) #7828

Homemade. After I cooked and removed the chicken I put in garlic, green onions, lots of mushrooms, basil, salt and pepper, butter,A few diced fresh tomatoes and sautéed. When the mushrooms were soft, I added 4 ounces of heavy whipping cream, and 2 ounces-ish of Grated Parmesan. And allowed it to thicken. I then added my salted rinsed and drained zucchini noodles. I cooked a little longer and served it topped with the chicken pieces.
Yum!!

Great seer on those scallops, @Ernest

Totally sweatin’ your flat top.

(Graci) #7830

Scrambled eggs cooked in butter & avocado under a heavy sprinkle of sea salt & dill drizzled with 1/2 tbspn of MCT oil (trying this for first time this week just to see if I feel any better). Lots of water this morning to quench actual thirst and a couple ginger capsules (definitely helps my energy level).

(Diane) #7831

Brunch is bacon & egg salad on the last of my coconut flour fathead bagels, 1/2 avocado and leftover pizza (yes, thought I was going to eat that last piece yesterday, but suddenly felt full and saved it for today).

(Khara) #7832

Sounds really good. Thanks for the recipe!

(Jody) #7833

I found this at the grocery store, EXCITING. Any ideas what it works best for?
Thanks!

Left over bbq

#7835

Pea porridge (only 10 g of carbs - quite good for the likes of me), spinach, mushcrooms, 2 fried eggs with onions. Ate it before I took a picture.

(Hyperbole- it’s the best thing in the universe! ) #7838

Swiss cheese sauce

(Clare) #7839

This was my dinner tonight! Eggs scrambled I’m ghee, a whole pack of crispy bacon and some smoky chorizo!

(Full Metal Keto) #7840

Well, we are what we eat…and you’re probably 10% dark chocolate too😉

:cowboy_hat_face:

(Clare) #7841

I’m definitely dark chocolate…Smooth, with a hint of bitterness!:laughing:

(Jacqueline Porter) #7842

I thought I would try some zuccini noodles for the first time

Sauted them in a little olive oil, and my new favourite butter
Plenty of salt
I thought I had a ragu sauce in the freezer, but it turned out to be a jolly hot (in a good way) chilli! I used to be able to tell the difference by the kidney beans! But no longer a visible clue☺20190513_183914|375x500
Half a lb of cheddar!

Very nice!
Not sure I would use the zoodles again. I like sliced runner beans or buttered cabbage. Or just a dollop of soured cream and cheese!

(I'll trade you my bacon for your cheese) #7843

 That was a good one!!

And that bacon pile is quite impressive. But where’s my fancy bologna at?
